Fab content, weak TV platform
It’s okay to ‘continue watching’ the exact same episode you were on, but if you want to watch a different episode you have type the name of the show into the search box and find it all over again. Very tedious.
Customer service
Had a program which wouldn’t load. Error message said it was an error their end and to contact them. Sent them the screen shots of the error message to get a reply of error must be my end. Even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app which was what I was told to do and didn’t work. Reply from them after was same message.

Please remove the ads
I wanna kill my self every time am enjoying a show am watching and then an ad pops up and it says only 3 or 2 ads but then there 4 or 5 and it annoying so please remove the ads
No interruptions
Loving no adverts. It’s brilliant!
Too many ads
Advert countdown regularly counts past zero and into negatives meaning you have to watch several minutes of unskippable ads and then you have to restart it to exit the ads where you are then risking the same thing happening again as you are immediately served with more ads. Incredibly frustrating to happen multiple times in the same programme

Just getting ridiculous the frequency, number and duration of adverts.
Abysmal ux
On iOS app, Downloads often fail to reload, often forgets that subscription has been paid. Almost always forgets where I stopped watching and restarts an episode from the beginning. Just about managed to make it through a series I wanted to watch. Can’t believe people put up with this over the long term. If zero stars was an option, I’d award it to this app. Similar poor ux on tv running android.

The ability to download is great; and just like the free version on BBC Iplayer).
It’s nice not to have ads, but I grew up with ads; and they are an opportunity to pop out and do something mid-program. Now I have to <pause> the telly 😏
The price £60pa has gone up quite a lot since the cheap offer I accepted. I’ll probably cancel one of these days.

Terrible user experience when casting
Terrible user experience when casting on Chromecast. App keeps crashing and stoping the show. I need to restart the app for it to work again. Also next episodes don’t play after the other and there is no option to resume watch. Overall I am shocked this app is allowed to be offered to the public in this state.

Unwanted spam notifications
No option to turn them off, have to do it globally in iOS settings to stop the nuisance

Shocking App
I am casting ITVX from my iPhone to Apple TV… it just keeps cutting out for no apparent reason… all other channels are fine… sort it out, please???
Make your ads shorter
I personally think and know people who like ITVX but find the ads draining because why am I watching 2 minute and 30 second ads for something like love island and I know other free streaming platforms that have ads but aren’t as long like I’ve got a life outside watching shows where I have to spend on important thing i haven’t got 5.99 a month to paying you guys for a show and don’t get me started on how frequent these ads are it’s ridiculous

The adverts are not too long, unlike Channel 4 where you get bored of watching advert and just turn it off
Sooooo slow
Why is this app so slow on my television? Works fine on a laptop but it’s infuriating on the tv. And there are annoying little pfffts of sound between adverts that drive me up the wall.
Too many ads
Having to watch 8 ads before you can rejoin your programme is ridiculous. Business decision to force you to buy premium.
Disappointing App
Glitchy, difficult to navigate and lacking the necessary features to make use a more intuitive experience.
