It’s ridiculous that for a joint bank account the app only allows one sign in. It’s 2026, get a more sophisticated app.

I feel pestered
Every single time I log on to the app it asks me to give it a review. I liked the app before that, but now I feel pestered.

Check deposit NEVER works
Can’t tell you how unbelievably frustrating it is to have to retake the back of the check image -no joke- 20 times before it works correctly. Probably 1/3 of my checks get held for review because the mobile check deposit part of this app is terrible and never works. Major issues.
App always closes
I regularly use Zelle and every time I try to send with Zelle through this app, it closes and I can’t send any money!! Highly considering closing my account because this is extremely inconvenient. Other than that, the app is fine but this function is very important to me. I specifically asked when I opened my account if I can use Zelle and the banker said yes. Please fix it!!!

Update screen is irritating
I have enjoyed using the IUCU mobile app for a number years. Each iteration prior works very well, without visual irritations, and have been intuitive.
The newest update is far less intuitive, and has seriously irritating flashing green boundaries on the check picture taking phase.
Have they thought about people who have seizures? It is highly likely to trigger one with the flashing and non-stable screen. For those with visual over stimulation issues it is also very frustrating.
Add to this it is not as intuitive as in the past.
You open up the tab to mobile deposit a check, and it isn’t as straight forward as in the past.
The rest of the app seems as straight forward as in the past.
I guess they didn’t get the memo “If it ain’t broken don’t fix it”.
This time: It’s broken. It’s time to fix it.

Easy to work with
Had the account since college. Good stuff
Trouble
Everything was excellent until it began insisting on a review every time I used it. It should just do the job and leave me otherwise alone. Keep out of my way and be efficient is a good app. Waste my time is not.
Really Good!
All my finances are right there, easy to see and move around as needed. Sometimes the down time is at a bad time for me, but otherwise I’m a big fan!

Errors with online and mobile banking
I have been using this app for many years now and I have experienced issues logging into both the online and mobile version of my account multiple times. All day today, I have attempted to log into my account only to receive an error message stating “online and mobile banking services are currently not available.” Not being able to access MY money/account is crazy. IUCU- do better!!
