Incomprehensible and has a poor user interface.

Incomprehensible and has a poor user interface. It might do something useful but it is by no means obvious what.

Crap

Crashes ALL the time

Don't spent any cent on this rubbish.

Absolutely disaster. And cannot see usb at all.

Useless

I put an iPhone card reader into my phone and it said I had to download iUSB to see the files on the card. So I paid to download the app and it still won’t let me look at the stuff on the card. Worthless app.

Recommended for its ease of use and helpful instructions

From forums etc, I think many of us find transferring various sorts of file (pdf, docx, xlsx etc) between PC, Mac, iPhone and iPad awkward. I've tried many apps claiming to offer effective solutions, but none as easy to use as iUSB. Between iOS devices and computers, it uses IP addresses in browsers. I've seen criticisms of this method by people who know more about these things than me, but I've had terrible experiences with alternative methods requiring the downloading and installation of programmes on PC and Mac to get them to work, such as the expensive "Local Cloud Pro", which I find a nightmare to use.

iUSB is simple and works well. It has an inbuilt help system of horizontally-scrollable illustrated examples of what to do for each type of inter-device and PC/Mac communication offered, but one thing worth noting that may not be obvious is that some of these horizontally-scrollable help pages also need to be scrolled vertically because some of their instructions are below the initial screen.

There is an in-app purchase, but many users will likely find all they need available in the app as downloaded without the need for the in-app option.
