Ivanti Docs@Work User Reviews

Completely abandoned garbageware

This thing is required by some companies as part of BYOD (using your own personal iPhone to get your work email, etc.)

The reviews should tell you everything you need to know. It’s an absolutely awful application that barely works. It’s rarely updated - iOS 18 was announced in June of 2024, released in September of 2024, but Ivanti wasn’t updated to officially support it until the end of January 2025. Its sole purpose in life is to be a basic “is this device compliant or not” app, which plenty of other services do without requiring a dumpster app like this.

If you’re in IT and you’re considering putting this on employee devices, just don’t. It’s a waste of time, energy, and makes your department look like dingalings for not picking a better tool for MDM.

Can’t open attachments

New app is crappy. Can’t open attachments directly. Have to go thru multiple clicks of downloading and searching before you can open document. Please fix this.

App not working with recent iOS Update

App does not open after the recent iOS update (15.5 on iPad)

No consistency

App works sometimes but most of the time I cannot open a document or it just sits in limbo. Sometimes when I try three of four times to open the same document I can get it to work BUT why should I have to do this???

Garbage

Constantly Crashes and erases everything. Trash

Works with docs@work

No complaints, but should be able to open multiple tabs at once.. but I guess that’s more of a large screen iPad feature. Still, should have multi-tab support..

Compatibility problem with iOS 13

Doesn't open mail attachments in iOS 13.

Opening inclosures

On IOS 13, I couldn’t open mail attachments at any format PDF, MS office or any other format the email shows the application pic only with no further action can be taken

Plz advise/fix, thanks

Not working properly with iOS 13

Does not work with iOS 13. The copy to Docs@Work icon in the share sheet disappears after restart. Please fix.

Opening files

Is there a way to fix the problem of compatibility with iOS 13? I can’t open mail attachments with docs@work.

Doesn’t work with newest iOS

No way to launch the app when trying to open a nail attachment

Would be better with more features

The app is good for opening and annotating documents but functionality is very basic. For example, it doesn’t work with split screen on iPad Pro and you can’t have more than one document opened at the same time (no tabs).

Always crash in slpash screen

Always!

Split screen

Why does this app not allow for split screen on iPad Pro? Limits functionality completely.

Stopped working

Does not work w iOS 11.0.3. Dead in water now

Low Res

Resolution has still not been updated for the Plus phones.

IOS 10.3 Public Beta 2

App does not work under this Beta Release.

Very cludgy interface - hate using product

I really hate using this product. It's such a pain - the user interface is slow, the options are unintuitive, its really hard to stay organized and move files within the app.

Attachment solution:

SOLUTION: The “MobileIron” app that used to open the documents disappeared from my phone with their recent update – that’s why I couldn’t open attachments.

As indicated in other reviews, other users have discovered the same problem.

MobileIron has a NEW COMPANION APP to open the attachments:
·
· Download the app “MobileIron Docs@Work”
· When you go to open an attachment (or the app, directly), choose “Copy to Docs@Work” … it will ask for your Passcode
o This is NO LONGER the 5-digit code you previously set-up – that was erased in the update. If you try to enter that code, you will be locked out for five minutes.
o INSTEAD, choose “FORGOT CODE”,then follow the instructions:
§ Enter your Username and Password for your work accounts
§ Devise a new 8 character password
§ Re-enter the new 8 character password
o You should now have access to your attachments. You will need to enter the longer, stronger, password each time you open the app, or if you are away from it for too long.

NOTE: my employer information states that “During normal use, Screenshots will be disabled.” If you are counting on this feature to protect your attachments, be aware: screen shots are NOT disabled while using the secure app – I was able to take a screen shot of one of my secure (no, not classified, or even sensitive – I don’t deal in that), attachments just fine on my iPhone.

Please add Split Screen Support!

This would greatly increase productivity/multitasking abilities for a ton of people.

Also, it still hasn't been updated to the iPad Pro resolution.
