IWalk Cornwall - perfection in an app
This incredible app has illuminated our experience of Cornwall. As returning holiday-makers to this beloved county, the app has enabled us to unlock undiscovered, beautiful adventures. As a family of four ranging from 9-78 years of age, all of us have adored trekking the comprehensive yet highly original routes. It is clear that qualities of dedication, knowledge and passion have been the driving force behind the creation of this detailed, thorough app. Particular aspects I have appreciated are the dual option of a visual route-tracker and written instructions, the intuitive movement from one instruction to the next and warnings when you are off course, indications of ETA and distance remaining, and storage of previous walks and data. Furthermore, the historical details behind every part of the walk are staggeringly well researched.

Wonderful walks to discover hidden Cornwall
I’ve been using this app for a few years now and it never lets me down. Wherever I am in the County, I can find some really interesting walks. I’ve learnt so much about mining history wildlife shipwrecks artists and much more have also stumbled across some fantastic cafés and churches every walk purchased has been worth every penny and I don’t get lost anymore with the app pinging me my directions.

Fantastic walking guide
The app directed us accurately to the carpark and gave clear instructions throughout the walk. We loved the extra information about the sights along the way.
Pelynt to West Looe circular
Points 1-3 overgrown so take walking poles. The river & streams were very low so we managed to complete the whole walk. At point 19, don’t take the left but keep going straight on as that was incorrect. At point 20 it states a gentle walk uphill. It was actually a strenuous walk with uneven path and could be very slippery in wet weather. Overall we enjoyed it though.

Love this app
I’ve had this app for at least a couple of years as we visit Cornwall regularly. The direction prompts mean We have never got lost! The app lets you know if you’re veering off the route. There’s also lots of interesting nuggets of information at each point which we found made the walk more fun. Make sure your phone is charged and location is set to always. There is an option to download to your phone just in case but that won’t give you the direction prompts. Just wish there was something similar available near our home in Sheffield.

Used this app a few times and the directions are spot on! Clear and really easy to follow. Nice walks too!
A real mess of an app
Could not get app to get GPS information on my iPhone. Followed the overly detailed instructions several times. App buggy and compared to other walk/hike app is inferior.
Brilliant app
This is my third time using the iWalk Cornwall - it is brilliant. My son asked me why I needed to pay for each walk when I “could probably work them out for free”. My response - the walks are often more adventurous than anything I would feel comfortable coming up with myself, they have heaps of interesting detail about where you are, and - most importantly - the keep you on track in a very simple and uncumbersome way. All for £3.49 a time. I call that a bargain!

Great Cornwall Walking Guide
Love using this app to choose walks in Cornwall. Great search feature to narrow down your options as there are so many walks. En route guidance is descriptive and accurate, you get a ping just before a waypoint. Once downloaded the app doesn’t use data, just needs a GPS signal. We’ve done dozens of walks without any issues.

I recommend this app to everyone who wants to get out and about but is a little anxious on the details. Extremely informative, up to date information with regular updates. Great app for Cornwall walks
The app gives you loads of information on your walk so you get so much more out of it than simply following a map.

Never get lost again!
This app is like having a tour guide in your pocket. Keeps track of your movement , alerts you if you go wrong, points out areas of interest and steers you back on the right path should you go wrong! There are so many walks to choose from it’s amazing! Additional information such as tide times, gradients, parking direction are useful too.

First time using the iWalk app
I am very impressed with how easy and informative the app is. The luxulyan valley walk is absolutely stunning. Brilliant for walking a dog off lead. Plenty of shade and water along the way. The history that the app provides at each point just makes it special.
