About
iWatch helps you document personal-safety incidents, organize recordings and documents, and notify the people you trust. Prepare your settings in advance so you know how to use the app when it matters.
RECORD AN INCIDENT
Start an incident from the Protect screen to capture video and audio with a visible recording indicator. Available location details are kept with the incident to provide context for later review. Configure your six-digit incident PIN and use it when prompted to stop recording.
REVIEW YOUR EVIDENCE
Find saved incidents in My Evidence. Review incident details, access available recordings, and check upload status. Cloud uploads require an internet connection; verify that an upload is complete before considering a recording backed up.
MANAGE TRUSTED CONTACTS
Choose your trusted contacts and manage their alert preferences. When incident alerts are enabled, starting an incident can automatically send SMS notifications to eligible contacts who have directly opted in.
Adding someone as a trusted contact does not subscribe them to SMS alerts. Each recipient must independently provide consent. Recipients can reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.
SMS alerts currently support eligible United States recipient numbers. Delivery depends on connectivity, carrier support, recipient preferences, and service availability.
ORGANIZE IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS
Use My Vault to store ticket and document images you choose to upload. Keep supporting information organized and accessible. Do not upload government identification or medical records.
MANAGE YOUR PREFERENCES
Adjust notification preferences, incident check-in settings, and evidence-retention options. Request an account data export or account deletion from Settings. These requests are processed by an administrator and are not immediate. Data exports are provided as ZIP archives.
PREPARE BEFORE YOU NEED IT
Read the Incident Guide, configure your incident PIN, review device permissions, and confirm that your trusted contacts have completed SMS opt-in. Become familiar with the app in a safe setting before using it during an incident.
PERMISSIONS AND CONNECTIVITY
Recording requires camera and microphone permissions. Location features require location permission, and location accuracy and availability may vary. Cloud uploads and automated SMS alerts require internet connectivity.
Keep iWatch open during recording. Backgrounding the app, locking the device, incoming calls, or operating-system restrictions may interrupt capture.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
iWatch is a personal-safety documentation and trusted-contact notification tool. It does not guarantee safety, prevent emergencies, dispatch emergency responders, or provide professional emergency monitoring. Incident check-in settings do not replace emergency assistance.
If you need immediate help, contact local emergency services when it is safe to do so. SMS alerts may be delayed or unavailable, and delivery does not confirm that a contact has read the message or will respond.
Only record where permitted, obtain consent when required, and respect other people’s privacy.
