Stead finder
I’ve been trying to access the strap Finder option whereby you put in the IW number and it gives you all the straps that will fit your watch. Unfortunately every time I put in the number with the IW at the beginning and press the arrow nothing happens rather frustrating

Kann meine Uhr trotz QR-Code nicht registrieren. Dementsprechend stehen mir wichtige Funktionen nicht zur Verfügung. Nachfrage beim Service wurde mit: „vermutlich ist die Uhr zu alt“ abgetan.

Try-on feature is useless
Overall cool app for viewing the collection.
However, the “try on” function sizes down each watch to fit your wrist; I would have expected it to show which models would actually fit my wrist size.

This is a good companion app for IWC watches. I particularly found the how-to videos for bracelet adjustment informative.
Where is the Mark XX?
I downloaded the app to virtually try on the Mark XX, but it is strangely absent from the available watches. What gives?

App Needs Work
IWC advertises you can configure your own Portugieser, but it’s nowhere to be found in the app. When you click through to the Portugieser site in the app, you either get a blank page or a 404 error. Just seems some proofreading was never done on such a main interface with clients and potential buyers so either it’s not important enough to matter or someone there is lazy.

Just picked up the Portugieser iw500710 in Las Vegas and checked out the app to help me get to know the watch and it's setting, this is my first IWC and I love it. Company seems like a true watch connoisseurs brand and is incredibly well crafted!
Limited models to view
I came here to compare models, configure sizes, straps, and case materials. I’m not able to do any of that. And forget about ordering or even booking an appointment with a dealer or boutique. My advice: just use the regular old school website.
Limited value in the VR app
It’s nice to be able to virtually try on a watch, but there is no way to see how the chronograph behaves in the VR app. That matters because I have 3-4 real uses in mind- it’s not a fashion decision.
Bad service and quality
I had issues with my new Portifino from the beginning, but due to business and Covid lockdowns, I was too late to get it repaired during the normal warranty time, when I tried to extend the warranty, first it did not work, since my serial number was not recognized, then I was too late. Now I have a 5.500 EUR piece of trash in my watch mover😡
