Not like word q for desktop

This app is not at all like word q for a desktop. I bought this thinking it would be similar, mainly that it would work in other apps to help with spelling and writing. Only it doesn't do this. Very disappointed

Excellent!

This is a fantastic app to help students with special needs. One of the best apps I used for school use. I hope they add the import feature, but it is still a golden app. Worth every penny.

Not bad

The file system is not good but the word suggestion is, so not to bad

Falls a bit short

I was very excited to download this app to mirror the laptop version that we have for my dyslexic child. However, I'm disappointed to discover that you can only save a file that is typed from within iwordq to dropbox etc. It would be nice to be able to import a file from dropbox, pages etc. into iwordq so that read feature can be used to the fullest and not just on documents generated from within iwordq. The only way I can see getting around this is to copy and paste from external documents to iwordq . . . cumbersome.

Pricey considering the short comings.

Additional issues . . . can you not change a file name once it's created? There is absolutely no app support on the company website.

Falls a bit short of description

As a writing tool, awesome app, parallels AppWriterUs but as a reading app of external content it doesn't live up to its description because you cannot import pdf or other such files into iWordQ.

A bit disappointed

I am a special education teacher and love the WordQ app for the computer. When I saw this app I was hoping to be able to use the reading feature for PDFs. Unfortunately, you cannot import documents. The word prediction and speech feedback are great for documents that the students are creating, I'm just not sure that it's worth the $24.99 price tag. If they improve the app to let you import PDFs, it would be well worth the price.

Wow!

Amazing app!

IWordQ ca

I'm really excited that an app version of Word Q is now available but there are bugs with French. Although we can read in French, there is no way to write in it because there is no French synthesizer and no dictionary for French prediction. Please do fix it soon. We can't wait! Merci!

Great app for struggling readers and writers!!!!

This app is filled with amazing features for writing AND reading, all of which are research-based. In addition to some enhanced reading support features, many of the features from the computer version are available in the iPad version. In my opinion, the iPad version has exactly what most people need to assist with typing speed, spelling and word finding. It is the perfect addition to any student’s iTool kit!
