Hi! I am in 6th grade and we use this at school. I personally hate this app but it is actually pretty good. It’s not fun or anything but it does teach you a few things. Like for example if you don’t get something you can watch a video explaining how to do it and if you don’t want that you can “learn with a example”. Also if you get it wrong it will give you a whole explanation on what you got wrong. But don’t get me wrong I don’t like it especially because it gives you 3 points for getting it right and like 5-10 off if you get it wrong. For educational purposes it’s good but it’s definitely not fun. Also it’s not free if it’s not from your school but if you are studying for your finals it is really good Bye!👋 😝😜

Muy mala la aplicación y te cancelan la contraseña después de tres días que pagué
I lost access to the app using my password. After paying for three months, I contacted support, and they told me there was no active subscription; I couldn't log in because my password had been blocked—I paid on September 11th, and by the 14th, I couldn't get in. I suspect someone else is using it. I wrote to support, and they asked for the last four digits of the card I used to pay; I sent the information, but they did nothing. This app is useless.
con la contraseña bien puesta dejé de poder entrar a la aplicación Después de tres meses que pago, le escribí al soporte y me dijo que no había ninguna suscripción después de dos meses haber pago la aplicación no podía entrar porque me bloquearon la contraseña, pague rl dia 11 de septiembre y el dia 14 no podia entrar . supongo que alguien mas la utiliza . le escribí al soporte y me pidió los cuatro números de la tarjeta con que pague . le envié la información y no hicieron nada . esta aplicación no sirve

I want to really like this app because it seems like a great learning tool especially for my homeschooled child however it doesn’t save progress. My child spent 30
Mins doing math lessons on her Google Chrome book and the next day when we pulled the app up on her tablet to do learning there was no progress saved, it didn’t show any of the medals she had received the day before. And now every time my child completes 1 lesson and receives a medal and then she clicks keep learning it ALWAYS says “Something went wrong! An unexpected error occurred. Please close and restart the app to try again.” And her medal for the lesson she completed doesn’t show. At first I thought maybe it’s just her tablet but I even tried it on my phone and still gets the same message every time. Also it should have still shown and kept her progress from when she spent 30 mins doing math the day before but it didn’t not on her tablet or on the Google Chromebook or on my phone. It seems like a great learning app very easy to follow and learn for her age but these little issues are making it difficult for her to want to continue learning and she’s not able to see the medals she’s already earned let alone the other incentives like the mystery squares etc etc. I hope this app fixes these issues so we can use it as it’s intended. Once these issues are fixed I will update my review.

I’m been using IXL ever since I was in kindergarten and it gives me nightmares and stress and the ai is wrong sometimes

IXL is okay when you first start, but it can get really frustrating. I nearly yelled out loud when I got a question wrong at 99. (You have to get to 100 and if you get a question wrong, you get set back points.) IXL isn’t worth it. I don’t see how so many people like it. Do splashlearn or something.

Generational Disappointment
Never have I been so disappointed at IXL, literally the one purpose it serves, it screws up. The smart score needs to be re done, you could be 30 minutes into a lesson and about to near proficiency just to get a question wrong and have to go through a 20 minute cycle of straight torture because it sets you back 6+ while only gaining a maximum of 3 smart score.
The diagnostic in my own math teachers words is wrong, inaccurate. Truly tragic when a teacher says that. Timed questions? No time to solve a question literally just was about to solve something but the little timer you thought would help automatically skips me. What could possibly be going through your head to think “oH yEAH tHiS iS a GrEaT IdEa”? Fire them. At least add the “I haven’t learned this yet” button back or let us extend the time.
Also change the levels back to grades, it’s pretty annoying to have to do it yourself to know if what you’re doing is grade level.
Want to make it at least 1000x better? Fire your entire decision making team and let children who know what’s actually good for the site to make the decisions (the kids that actually care about learning).
