Very fun, docks more point in the challenge zone then necessary
This app is way more fun than Khan Academy or any other math app I have tried. Although, once you get past 90 points, you get less points per question and when you get a question wrong, it docks you 8-12 points instead of before that where they dock you 2-4.
What I don’t like about this
Every time you get an answer wrong you deduct 6 to 8 points when you are over 70 points and when you get the answer correct you only get 3 to 5 when 70 to 80 points in to 2 to 4 points when 80 or more points into the practice

Ok so I don’t understand how people can write good reviews about this app. I’ve had to use this app literally since I’ve been born and I hate it. It doesn’t even like teach anything and when you get something wrong, there is an explanation, but it’s like not very helpful. Also, this app can give people anxiety and it can make kids cry like me and it’s just like if you get something wrong it moves you back so far. Like it could at least give you a thing just like try again I wrote many reviews about this app and they have not been good. It’s just like I don’t understand. It’s good in some ways like not really. They did do like an update where you can like watch a video and it explains that’s kind of helpful but like so it’s just like random and it’s just kind of annoying and I don’t like it and it’s like stupid and for someone that doesn’t like this app, I have to do it every day in the SUMMER cause my dad makes me do anything just helpful and it’s like really not. It’s just like doing things that you’ve already learned but like I already learned that so yeah, I mean I used to really hate this app, but there is some pros but yeah OK so yeah basically

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP FOR YOUR STUDENTS OR KIDS!! It is super stressful and does almost nothing toward kids learning. Whenever I get a question right I earn maybe 2 or 3 points, but when I get a question wrong, im down 5 or 6. Teachers need to learn they have to TEACH their kids instead of technology doing their job. Their videos explain only 1 way to do it and that’s it. If you don’t understand them you have to go to a teacher or adult to understand better. A teacher has pointed out the fact that it’s “brain drain” and that “it’s torture for the students”. They’re completely right! This app has made me and my classmates feel so stupid and mad. There has been a couple of people CRY over the stress. PLEASE DO NOT DOWNLOAD FOR YOUR STUDENTS OR KIDSSSSS!

IXL is such a great app! It’s interactive and gives you a goal you wanna reach, not just a page of a homework. It’s one of the best learning apps I have ever encountered because it’s fun and it teaches you everything from all the subjects. And also it’s suitable for kids from pre-k all the way to 12th grade! It adjusts its level according to how you did in the recent past and what you are good at or not good at as well. It actually helped me a lot and it’s probably the main reason i passed the math CBE! Thank you IXL!
