iYap: Private Voice Notes

Yap turns spoken thoughts into text you can use. Open the app, tap record, and talk. Yap transcribes on your iPhone and saves the transcript in a local inbox. Yap removes the temporary audio after transcription. Record from your iPhone or Apple Watch. Use the Action Button, Shortcuts, Siri, or Control Center when you need to start without hunting through your Home Screen. Your yaps stay searchable and editable. Append a new recording to an existing thought, merge related yaps, or share plain text to Notes, Messages, Obsidian, Files, and other apps. Yap works offline after you download its speech model. It has no account, cloud sync, analytics, ads, or remote transcription.
