App not working
App crashes after update on 11-aug-2026
I had to phone Izone after the app on my iPad and iPhone kept crashing when loading. The reason was due to a recent update on 11-aug-26 - that won’t allow room names to contain an exclamation mark (like Daddy’s room). I had to edit those room names on the control panel, delete and reinstall the apps on my iPad and phone. Then when I opened them, all was fine.
The developers need to fix this bug, so others don’t have to share the pain.

I zone home
This is ok but it’s very slow when changing configuration of rooms you can only do I toon at a time
Limited functionality
Would be great if the air conditioner could be programmed to be turned on as well as off. Currently the app only has a sleep setting for switching it off. I would like to be able schedule it to turn the heat on in the mornings so it’s not so cold getting up. Unfortunately this isn’t possible in the app.

The app is very slow to respond some times taking upto 3 minutes before the app needs resetting
Extremely Slow App Responses
The App features are great. User friendly and useful automation options. But sorry to say the App feedback through the gateway connection within the house wifi is extremely laggy and often takes 30 seconds to a minute to register adjustments being made. If user is remote and accessing through the app over the internet, the gateway connection and feedback to update will either not follow requested changes or take several minutes to act on the changes. The Gateway, and App working together needs enhancing.
The above is constructive feedback to improve the very costly system.
As mentioned features are great just usability through the app is agonisingly slow and often not responsive.

One of the worst Aircon apps I have seen
New theme is annoying
When they brought out the update a few years ago, it was really annoying but at least you could still run the old theme/version. Now, whenever you select the old version, once you leave the app it auto reverts to the new theme. The new theme doesn’t even have the same level of information as the old one, you have to turn on the aircon to get the current temperature.

Setting for old UI don’t stick anymore
The revised UI is so user unfriendly stuck with the old interface. Now latest update doesn’t even allow you to keep the old UI set and have to dig through menu every time you open it up.
Overall app works ok but interface needs a lot of rework to make easier to use.

Doesn’t work anymore
Can no longer use this app as it now requires an account login. Suddenly after years of ownership I can no longer control my aircon unit without connecting to an account??? The end of iZone products for me.!!
Wish they would invest as much into the app as they do for employees
The employees of izone are great, calls are quick, repairs and problems easy fixed by polite people and installation is quick, easy, and fast. The app lags and stutters, you press a button and it doesn’t register. You go back 20 minutes later and ask why didn’t it turn off? You have to go to the control panel installed and check if the app even did anything cause it just lies sometimes.

Useless app
This is the worst app I’ve ever used! It doesn’t reflect what’s actually happening on the system, if you try to change any setting you have to wait for all eternity for your change to register and this is after making multiple attempts. Overall the most useless app I’ve ever used, if I could give it 0 stars I would

Useless
All I can do is turn on the system, room temperature is inaccurate, cannot change set temp without the think spinning constantly and then not doing what I’ve asked. Have logged out and in again to no avail. Deleted app and reinstalled at which point the measurement is correct but next day it’s not syncing again. Bring back the old version from when I bought my system! Very disappointed

Dark icon for dark mode
The app works as expected but it’s literally one of a handful of apps that still don’t support auto dark icon switching based on system settings which is odd in 2026
Clunky & painful
Really clunky and just painful to use. Too many clicks and not intuitive. Also have issues with one unit’s automation not working on the app.
Need old izone app
Can you please put the old izone app back on the App Store? If, like me, you only use the app to control your air conditioning, the simple, old app was far better than this complex app that is full of stuff I don’t use and the a/c controls are horrible ☹️.

BRING BACK THE OLD APP
I’ve lived in my house for six years, downloaded the app and connected to my Aircon without trouble, now I can’t download the old app. I have to use this new one that refuses to find and connect to my aircon system, maybe the old touch screen is incompatible with the new app, since I see tutorials for this show much newer screens with the same UI as the app.
