Terrific escape game. great graphics. Had the same problem with the frame glitch, but easy enough to work around. I play many escape games, but this one seemed a little special. Thank you and keep em coming.

This was a very exciting escape game and I had a lot of fun completing it. I did have a few bugs though and it looks like it was a problem a few years back. When viewing an item, such as the ring with the green gem, after I separated them, any item I tried to view after that still had the star ring and I was unable to see the other item. It was no big deal as I just exited the game and started it again. It was fixed. But overall the graphics and gameplay are phenomenal. It was a truly great experience and I can’t wait to play more escape games by this developer! Thank you!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Puzzles are well thought out and the graphics are beautiful.
Can't play UPDATE: very fun!
Controls don't work. I swipe and swipe and swipe and nothing happens. I was able to have it respond a few times and movements were jerky and slow, and then it became unresponsive again. Will try deleting and reinstalling. Will update if successful.
Update: happy to say that I tried it again with good success. Loved it. Great puzzles. I also had glitches with the frame items but stuck with it, went back over the instructions in the help menu, and was able to make it work. Really enjoyed this one!

It's hard to find a point and click puzzle solving game that is just the right amount of challenging. Just when I thought I was totally stumped I explored an item a little more carefully to find the answer. I would love to see more like this!
A free "The Room"-type game
Very nice escape room game with cool manipulation of items like you find in "The Room" series of games. Would have given 5 stars but there was a glitch, as others have mentioned. The glitch can be overcome by closing and reopening the game.

Like other reviewers mentioned..there was a glitchy part with the frame puzzle. It kept loading the frame with each inventory item. I just closed out and re-started it and it was fine. Had no problems after that. Def a cool little game. Unique too!
Glitchy
This game is super glitchy. Had to shut down app about 5 times. Once a puzzle wouldn't work properly until I closed app and then re-opened it. Items were clunky when trying to join them. Just not smooth or done well.

Good challenge but a little buggy
Well executed and fun game. Assembling and disassembling the frame was buggy and required multiple game restarts, but it did restore your place.

Jack's Escape 2 is of a higher caliber than many other App Store escape games and exemplifies why Mikio Samejima is one of my favorite developers of this genre. The graphics and animations are high quality and beautiful; I LOVE the updated interface and style. The puzzles are intuitive and sufficiently challenging, and hints are available if needed. Overall, the game feels like a mini (though non-spooky) version of The Room series. Highly recommended! 👍👍

Another good one from Mikio Samejima! These are done right...clever, unique, decent length, and ads are not intrusive. I found this one a bit more challenging than this dev's other escape games, but still fun. Thank you!
Great escape game
This is a great game. Level of difficulty is not too hard if you play escape Games. I think they were going for a game in the style of The Room. It's not quite on that level but that is a great game to try to emulate. Good puzzles and overall fun to play.
