Really bad

I am very disappointed with the lack of a password reset feature. It’s basic functionality that should be available for user security and convenience. Not being able to reset my password is frustrating and feels outdated.

Get rid of notifications pop up

The app works great for most things related to JHMar but the pop up to remind you that notifications are turned off is annoying. Every time you open app it appears. It’s like I know notifications are off, I don’t need a reminder every time.

Password reset option is not working.

Horrible. It took three days for the tracking to work. Password reset function is not working either . No email was ever received

good product

Some issue, loses me in the Hobacks/Sublette Ridge and if any battery optimization is active. Fairly accurate, though recorded me at 125k vert on a day I only did 115k tops.

Apple Watch Tracking

I have been using the app for a short amount of time and have loved the run tracking feature. I have been tracking my days on the Apple Watch so they also count as workouts and don’t use up my phone’s battery life. When I track my day on the Apple Watch it doesn’t let me replay my day on the map. This app would be 5 stars if they added replays of your day even when doing Apple Watch tracking.

Why No Gps Map?

How come the new app progressed backwards? The JH Tapped app worked perfectly for showing a gps breadcrumb of where I had been on any given day. As someone who mostly skis off piste, the change to a ‘runs you’ve skied’ list is awful. Also I think the accuracy of the lift line wait feature could be improved. Please fix the gps most importantly!!

Thanks for your feedback! We released a feature called "Replay My Day" in early February, 2021, that I believe addresses the GPS tracking map you're referring to. Please check it out in your Daily Detail View!

Information incorrect

The app never shows what the wind speed actually is. It’s always “6 mph”.. Meanwhile, Sublette lift is closed due to high winds 🤔

Doesn’t Work

Between three of us none could get the app to work. Couldn’t create an account, or reset password, or get the app to work for tracking. Really poor implementation.

Unreliable

The parking feature is really unreliable because it says the ranch lot is full when it’s half empty

I'm sorry you've found this unreliable. We have great procedures in place to make sure these parking lots are updated as much as possible throughout the day. You could also check our Ranch Lot webcams on the app (scroll to the bottom of the list) before you arrive if you'd like to double check.

Worst App ever.

So we are what, 10’weeks into the season, I ski EVERY day with my husband. Every run every lift and every day!! He gets in average 10 to 15 thousand vertical more than me every day???? I do trams that never get logged!! I did 3 runs in Paintbrush today, but did one trip up Thunder??? Every day we die crying at the fact that my husband is on the leader board and we skied 2 hours!!! I am shocked by how inaccurate this is and what a total joke it is!!! It only seems to get worse each day.. at least it makes us laugh but not one thing is correct at the end of the day!!! Do better JHMR!!!

I have been using slopes to track activity. Anyway to import data into JH app?

Thanks so much for the great review and comments. Unfortunately, at this time, there's no way to import tracks from another tracking app or a .gpx or other file into JH Insider.

GPS went 10 steps backwards

JH Tapped had a much better GPS tracking system that showed you the runs off-piste and your actual lines, that could then be exported to google maps. Everything about JH tapped was way more functional.

Excellent start, few suggestions

I really like this app overall and is an excellent start for first season it is available! Few suggestions/requests:
1) the “ski with group” tracking feature is great, but how about allowing groups to share location all season long rather than limiting sharing to max of 12 hours. I’d love to be able to track my family all season.
2) map should show your ski runs on the map like other ski tracking apps do
3) default for stats should be for today, with option to see all season. The current version of the app allows you to see season summary, and then you can tap on the number of days and “drill down” to today. But would be nice to see today’s stats “face up” without having to drill down.

Again, great start! Look forward to future enhancements.
