Unreliable

Clunky and fails to record the first 5 minutes of travel but seems to have no problem recording inside of garage! Even assigns wrong dates.

Works well

It’s good and does exactly what it says it does. It was installed well and works perfectly. You do have to be in the car and connected to see the recordings but this helps control what you want to keep. For the idiots out there that say you can’t download the videos, read the instructions that tell you where they are stored on your phone. You can move them from that location.

No way to download from app to phone

There’s a massive flaw here Jaguar with no option to download footage form the app to your phone. Having to take the memory card out to transfer footage is ridiculous

Only view video in the app!

The app itself is easy to setup, it is easy to find incidents and download them to the app BUT there is no way to transfer that video to anything else! I have footage of a parked incident but can do nothing with it! You can’t send it to police or your insurance! A major floor!

Please fix this or it’s not worth having it!

Unable to download clips

The app is ok in general but once you’ve downloaded from the Dashcam there seems to be no way to download from app to phone. Seems a basic feature missing.

Needs a lot of work

Pretty bad user experience. Very slow. Things that need to be improved.

1. How can I not download and save the videos to my photo application on my iPhone? I can only download to the app, but you cannot even watch the video in landscape, so you’re stuck with a portrait view, making the video very small.

2. The recording organization is just a list. It’s very basic. They should look at other video apps, like google home security cameras or eufy security camera apps and see how they display video events. Light years ahead of this.

Honestly, this looks like it was made by someone whose never made an app before and most likely an engineer without any true design UX expert helping build out the proper user journeys.

Lastly, looks like the frequency of updates is very slow, 1 per year. Seems Jaguar put a very small team on this, launched it, then never thought about it again.

After spending £750 to have this installed at my jag dealer, I’d expect a much better user experience. If you want any more feedback Jaguar - happy to be your beta tester.

Getting Dashcam working with iPhone 13 Pro Max

To Early to give a Proper Rating as yet, but for the issues had and Not being able to connect to my iPhone 13 Pro Max and been Redundant asking Constantly for a Firmware Update and Un operational for 7 Weeks of Having as New with Range Rover Evoke! Technical Support at Land Rover and Dealership Services/Engineers had No idea!!!
Simply this will only work with the 13 Pro Max in Airplane Mode on with WiFi Connected, you can then Set up, update the firmware and format and configure the Cameras to your needs!
I hope this helps anyone who has/had the issues I had as After sales Support is useless with No knowledge/interest and passing the buck!!!!

Jaguar Dashcam

Both the Dashcam and the app work well. On my car (F-Pace P400) the connection from phone to camera works better for downloads with Bluetooth temporarily turned off.

F-Pace Dashcam

The Jaguar Dashcam is excellent, no visible wires, doesn’t obstruct the view and integrates with the system.
Easy to use with this app (I downloaded the instructions) automatically works while driving and can be set to record impact or someone approaching when car is parked.

Terrible

The worst cameras and app ever
