Jalees turns the material you are already studying into something you can ask questions of.
Upload a textbook, a lecture recording, or your own notes. Jalees reads them, and then answers questions grounded in the exact page or transcript timestamp in front of you — not a vague summary, and not something it invented.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
Read your own books
Open a real PDF with crisp text at any zoom, or switch to a clean text view. Highlight, annotate, and pick up where you left off on any device.
Ask about the page you are on
The assistant sees what you see — current page, current scroll, current zoom — and answers about exactly that. Answers point back to the page they came from, so you can check them.
Turn a lecture into something searchable
Upload a lecture video or audio recording and Jalees transcribes it. Ask a question and the answer is tied to the moment in the recording it came from.
Work through a topic step by step
Guided study builds a lesson from your own material and walks you through it, with narration if you want to listen instead of read.
See it, not just read it
When a diagram would explain something better than a paragraph, Jalees builds a small interactive visualisation inline. Adjust it, and ask follow-up questions about it.
Keep the rest of your studying in one place
Notes and notebooks, a units-aware calculator, and a calendar that syncs your timetable so deadlines sit beside the material they belong to.
Study in your language
Full support for English, Dutch, and Arabic, including right-to-left layout.
BUILT FOR REAL COURSEWORK
Jalees was built by a graduate student for their own degree, and it is shaped by that: dense technical PDFs, equations, diagrams, lecture recordings, and the specific problem of finding the one paragraph that explains the thing you are stuck on.
YOUR MATERIAL STAYS YOURS
Your uploads are private to your account. They are not shared with other users, not published, and not used to train anybody's model. Analytics are off until you turn them on, and you can delete any document — or your whole account — from inside the app at any time.
