This first visual story by James Cage White is a fun dive into the psyche of a charismatically creative young man.
The visual design is of the post-modern kind: eventuates by life’s intricacies—-and yet paradoxically— its simplicities. During the latter half of a particular game route, the narrative undergoes a focal change where James moves from talking about himself in the present to a separate third party narrator looking over himself. This focalization is an example of the many fantastic narrative choices made by Cheng.
It’s of my humblest opinion that this game ought to serve as a pillar for world-class visual novel game design. Both splendid in art and concept, this visual novel explores the seemingly bleak but paradoxically profound intricacies of daily life.
10/10, 5 stars.

Better than I expected
I bought this game to support James. I really actually enjoyed it. Funny quotes that he usually says in his daily videos which made me laugh. The elevator seen literally had me crying I was laughing so hard. I loved it so much. Great job James!

The story that James presents to us is very engaging and heartfelt. The way he delivers every line is driven with always the right amount of passion. The creativeness of James cage whites mind and his ability to really put us in his world is breath taking. I recommend everyone play this game because you haven’t lived if you hadn’t! <3

This very sophisticated game provides insight to James’ everyday life. It proves that such a saving guy like James can be a wonderful game developer.
I cannot recommend this game enough
The roller coaster of emotions I felt while playing this game was like none I’ve ever experienced. Complex characters like “blond girl”, “astronaut” and “mom” add dimension and flavor to an already incredible story. Riveting from beginning to end, the story pulls you in and you won’t be able to stop playing.
This should be at the very top of the charts, I can’t wait to see more games from the original saving guy James Cage White. Buy it. Buy it now.

This game is honestly a modern masterpiece. The story telling, the rise, the fall, the 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒅𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒑𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕, the intense driving arc during the park play through, just everything about this visual novel is perfect. I really hope you keep up the great work on your games James. Good job friend.

Suffering dissociation and depersonalization after too much time in the James Cage White simulator
Logged so many hours in the simulator that I don’t know where I begin and James Cage white ends. If you’ve pored over James’ memoirs like me then some of what you’ll experience in the simulator shouldn’t be a huge shocker, but there are some twists that will have you on the edge of your seat. The art, the script, the UX, his mom...brava!!!

Fantastic visual novel
This game is an excellent example of modern story telling from an incredibly interesting perspective. If you follow James White on Twitter, you’ll have a great time playing through this. He deserves appreciation and support for his hard work. 10/10 very cool and very swag as well
