Only problem is chatting with the bot
Hello! I had just installed the app and I actually find it quite nice. I just don’t like how there’s only limited times you could reply to a bot before saying “your limit it up” or something along the lines when I try to talk to a bot. Another thing is that whenever I speak with the bot it just goes into a tangent and speaks for me which I kind of don’t like since I wanna be involved with the bot every step of the way. Last thing is the “new respond loader” or however you call it when I want the bot to reload a new response, it just copies the old response before actually loading a new one. Oh! I also suggest maybe being able to edit the bots responses but that’s just me, Thank you for reading!

DEFINITELY could be better
I got the app so that I don’t have to go on the website, and honestly the app is nowhere NEAR as good as the website. You can still chat with bots for free in stuff (thank you for that) but you can’t generate other responses, create a persona and there aren’t the same bots on the app as on the website. I don’t know if it’s just me or not, but the app would be absolutely perfect if it was just like the website.

Email Change Dilemma
The website is so much better than the actual app; it would not let me change my email, or log in to my actual J.AI account, just kept making spam accounts. It took me like thirty minutes to try to update the email, follow all the steps and then just not have the email changed at all.
Stolen bots and App
Wow, came to see how many bots have been stolen and as soon as you open the app there’s a ton. That’s disgusting and disappointing. Also this isn’t the official Janitor app, I’ve spoke with them and this is a scam.

i like it, its really good! although the only issues i was was the repetitive responses & how theyre ridiculously long even when i change the ticks.
also, its way different on mobile. i liked how it was on my laptop and didnt expect the features to be different. i liked that we could turn on and off the nsfw filter, and i dont see that feature on mobile.
other than these things, it was really good. ive heard people say its hard to use, and i didnt think it was that difficult. i liked the amount of detail the characters included in their responses, and how they control surrounding characters — other than the fact they try to control me lol. i see a lot of potential in this app ^^

My experience
Why offer a premium subscription, if there’s no account option for mobile? I just wasted money because I can’t actually use the app, and I can’t use the subscription on the website because I bought it without an account.
Lots of potential, but…
AI response times are very slow. No persona system or anything similar. Other than that, it’s easy to navigate and it’s formatted nicely.
So far so good.
Current issue is app is very different from site. Difficult to find characters with search engine, as barely anything shows up. Maybe it’s a setting issue I’m missing or something needing fixing?

My issue with Janitor Ai app
There is no login system for this app? So, I can’t link up with my desktop/browser account to the application, meaning I’ll have to somewhat start from scratch. There really is no use for anyone to use the app when you have the desktop or use whatever browser on mobile for access to your account. Not to mention, you don’t have to pay when you can use it for free on desktop/browser.
EDIT: You can’t look up certain creators on the app, it doesn’t even give you an option of going onto character’s page either. It’s a very janky app, just stick with the desktop/browser version. At least it’s useable. 🤷🏻♀️

Lemme tell you, janitor AI is the best. I enjoy the characters and how well done the game is. I normally role-play with poly.ai or chai and characters.ai but out of all of those this one is my favorite! I recommend downloading this whatever device your on.

Why so many stolen bots?
I only downloaded the app to ensure none of my bots were on here… So I’m curious, why charge so much for access to stolen bots? Many of us bot makers are living in poverty, not even able to afford medical treatment. I know some of the creators of various bots on your site, and they make it clear they only make for certain sites. The real JanitorAI, and sometimes CharacterAI and Poe, maybe a couple others. I don’t mind people downloading mine from Chub to use on their front ends, or to use PRIVATELY on other sites… and some of them don’t mind that kind of use either. However, what gets everyone’s goat is when the stuff is stolen and ported to use on someone else’s site for making money. You don’t even provide credit to the actual creators, linking to their Patreon/Ko-Fi/etc so people can support them and provide feedback.

I kept trying to figure out how I can log into my pre-existing account on the app, but there wasn’t a profile icon. And when I asked the AI helper, help me it kept giving me the same replies and forgetting what I was saying.
