About
Keep your weekday alarm. Skip your days off.
Japan Holiday Alarm Clock skips Japanese public holidays and the leave days you add yourself. After your break, alarms follow your selected weekdays and time again.
CHOOSE WHICH MORNINGS RING
Japanese public holidays, including substitute holidays, are identified using Cabinet Office data. Add personal leave or company days off, and optionally enable the December 29–January 3 preset.
Holiday and day-off skipping applies to repeating alarms with selected weekdays. One-time alarms do not use these skip settings.
SEE YOUR NEXT ALARM
The Home screen shows the next alarm and the scheduling range confirmed with the system. The calendar distinguishes your planned schedule from actual system registration.
FIND YOUR MORNING SOUND
Choose from 15 built-in sounds grouped as Gentle, Balanced, and Strong. Preview each sound, use a 24-second gradual volume increase, or schedule a test alarm two minutes ahead. The standard system sound is also available.
Previewing does not save your selection. Preview volume may differ from the actual system alarm volume. Save your changes in the alarm editor.
EVERYDAY CONTROLS
• Snooze: off, 1, 5, or 10 minutes
• System, Light, and Dark appearance
• Japanese and English
• Screens designed for VoiceOver and larger text
ONE-TIME PURCHASE
No subscriptions, in-app purchases, ads, or account registration.
BEFORE YOU START
Requires iOS 26 or later and alarm permission. Alarms are registered up to 28 days ahead and refreshed when you open the app. Background refresh depends on iOS. If you do not open the app for a long time, future alarms may not be replenished. Check the confirmed scheduling range on Home and reopen the app before it ends. Test the actual alarm on your iPhone before an important day.
PRIVACY
No personal data is collected. Settings remain on your device. Network access downloads the Cabinet Office holiday CSV. No location access, advertising, tracking, or analytics tools.
