They’ll Rip You Off
For being a Japanese company, they are the most deceitful, fraudulent, unhinged thieves, that I’ve ever done business with. I cannot believe that the Japanese ministry and their tourism company recommends this agency. It is a disgusting representation of what’s good in the people of Japan. Do not do business with them. If you can’t get a train to your destination, Rent-A-Car. But avoid this company at all costs. They will rip you off.
Also, they will advertise that they can get you seats on a train and then say that they cannot and offer you the difference for the cheaper seats. And when you say no and cancel it, they tell you that because they booked the second portion of your ticket they therefore have the return or cancellation fee of 20%. Dispute all charges with your credit card. Keep all screenshots. Make a case. And if you have to go to their local branch, police department and file a fraud report. It’s the only way to get a company like this to behave professionally.

可以说是最好用的日本交通APP
最近的版本好像有个小BUG，【周游券通票】页面 整个空白，无法勾选已购买的周游券。我记得正常情况下，这页会显示所有周游券种类供选择。

Google Maps is better and free
Google provided more details and better map view of entire route, I stopped using this app on the first day in Japan and used Google Maps for the remaining 12 days of my trip. Waste of money
Scam for money
The app is full of push sudden windows to make you buy, full of useless extra info that make you uneasy to navigate the app too many options and even if it does have real time timetables it has been made not to help as priority but to take money from foreigners. Shame on you developers it use to be a nice app in te beginning now you give the app to the wrong people to design!

Can’t get past onboarding
After asking for location services, can’t continue. If kill and restart app, just a blue screen.
Awful and frustrating
Just nothing more than an attempt to keep selling you stuff when providing publicly available train information. Very frustrating and annoying
Route Navigation
Really bad! Type in place name…click on it…and suddenly the name changes. You have to do this 3-4 times before it actually uses the place you want. Stupid!
Buggy time entries
If you’re outside Japan, it’s a challenge to make plans or itineraries in advance. You can’t make entries in Japan standard time. It assumes your local time and then converts it to Japan time. So what you enter and what gets saved are totally different unless you make those timezone calculations in your head.

Used to be best Japan travel app
Used to be best app, until they force everyone create account, and account creation is nightmare, apple id account creation doesn’t work, Facebook login need 2 times login still doesn’t do the job. Email account creation finally work, but app stuck after given location permission, tried reinstall app and retry, still doesn’t work. Give up

Ruined by paywalls
When I first downloaded this app, it offered many features for free, such as seeing all stops between your starting point and destination. Now, simple features like this and others have been locked behind a premium subscription paywall. Charging for features that used to be free is ridiculous. I will be using a different app that offers these features for free going forward.
