Don’t waste your money
I just wanted a SIM card to plug-in to my phone and have it start working immediately. It is day 3 and I still don’t understand how it works. I want my money back. It has been useless this entire time.

I’ve no idea how the rating for this app is so high. I’ve just spent a month in Japan and it was absolutely useless even if you are able to get a connection and most of the time I wasn’t it’s slow. It’s unreliable. It’s just useless.
Too much tracking, not enough connecting
This app claims to provide automatic connections, but fails miserably to actually ever do that. Meanwhile, it requires continuous location tracking in the background. Across 16 days in Japan, it only connected my device to a wifi network on four occasions. At least one of those networks didn’t work at all. Save your privacy, and just use cellular / look for a public hotspot if you need one.

Unwanted notifications
This was useful only once: connected me while on the bus to eduroam. But, I already have eduroam! So this was useless. Now after I returned home, I got a notification. For eyewear in Japan! I mainly used my t-mobile roaming.

話にならない
このアプリは接続阻害になり得ます。普通に接続して認証すれば使えるWi-Fiがこのアプリが入る事で自動認証になるがこれが酷く、途中で認証が外れてずっとインターネット未接続になります。普通にフリーWi-Fiつかうなら多少手間ですがこのアプリを入れずに認証したほうがまともに使えますのでこのアプリに価値はない。

転職の関係で今まで車通勤だったのが、電車で都内に通勤することになり、モバイルデータ通信節約のために入れてみたのですが、
バッテリーの消費はあがるし、WiFiに繋いでモバイルデータ通信を節約するためのアプリなのに、モバイルデータ通信もそこそこ使用してました…
iPhoneのモバイルデータ通信使用状況を月毎に確認するため、
毎月モバイルデータ通信の使用状況をリセットして、どのアプリがモバイルデータ通信をどれくらい使ってるかチェックしてるのですが、
今月27日時点で143MB使用。
同時期に入れたタウンWiFiは10.4MBの使用。
通勤時帰宅時毎回使用してる乗り換え検索よりも使用通信量が多い…
繋がる場所も少なく、繋がっても速度が遅すぎて通信できないことが殆どでした…
モバイルデータ通信節約するためにWiFi繋ぎたいのに、WiFi繋ぐためにモバイルデータ通信使用してるなら本末転倒なので消しました。
皆さんも使用する際はバッテリーの消費具合とモバイルデータ通信の使用料はこまめにチェックした方がいいかもです。

掴まない
SSIDが認識されてるのに掴まない、通知もない 地図がズレてるから？ たまに掴むが基本的に手動で接続ならこのアプリ無しで自分でつなぎますよ。 自動でつないでくれるのを期待して入れてるので。

レビュー書かれて意見聞くくらいなら日頃からアンテナ立てて意見収集すれば良いのでは？
今後より良いアプリになってくれれば引き続き使用される方が快適に使えるのではないかと思います。

Works well, when it does
Kind of silly you have to set this up prior to connecting to a WiFi it supports. If you connect to one, it tells you to download the app before using the supported WiFi, but it won’t give you internet to actually download the app. Pretty ironic.
Other than that, I was able to mostly wonder about Tokyo Station with little issues.

Infrequently useful
Sometimes the app works, but most free wifi in Japan requires an email login. What is particularly irritating is that the app often wants to update by re-downloading from the AppStore. This is a bad experience because I need the app to connect to WiFi. Cellular downloads take too long. So I have to go back to my hotel or find a public WiFi point with email registration in order to use this.
I’ll probably end up deleting this app and just use email registration everywhere. It seems like more trouble than it is worth most of the time.
