Hello. Thank you for your feedback. We don't add any ad banners. They are from the original websites that you visit and which are displayed as is. We simply add furigana on each webpage and make words clickable.

3 day trial

Note that the entire app is a 3 day trial. After that you have to pay $14.99 to use it.

Well, admittedly, I like that method more than a straight up payment or gutting the app for free users.

I’m not sure I will continue using the app though. It’s missing a “find on page” feature, and that’s a real killer for me.

I’ll rate it 4 stars because it renders the Japanese-Japanese dictionary in English, though.

希望と依頼

仕組みはものすごい嬉しかったので今後のアップデートにも期待します。
日本語以外の記事に翻訳された文がふりがなのように表示されたら語学の勉強にも使えるなって思いました。逆に日本語記事が英語の字幕的なのが付けば海外の方の日本語の勉強に使ってもらえるなと感じました。

また、人名などふりがなの認識誤りがありましたので修正依頼したいと言う場面はありましたので、間違ってる部分を選択してフィードバックする仕組みが欲しいと思いました。AIを使ってたら難しいと思いますがよろしくお願いします。

お問い合わせチャットbot的なので質問投げると修正がいたずらでなければ適応されるなんて感じだと非常に助かります。

これから、アプリ使い倒したいと共に今後の開発も頑張ってください。また、小中学生が健全に使えるブラウザアプリに進化していくことも期待します。

Most seamless furigana and definitions lookup you could imagine

This is easily the best app (far better than safari plugins/extensions) I've come across. Absolutely seamlessly view furigana and/or definitions while browsing. Only downside I can see is it's somewhat lacking as a standalone browser, no tabs, browser settings, etc. But as a learning tool to read native content, absolutely unbeatable. Worth the price and then some.

Not yet operable…

It does not properly identify and handle many links in articles. The definition window often appears out of the screen area, so definitions of words can’t be seen in their entirety. The flashcard system is unusable. Instead of saving the word, it saves a link to the article. I’d like to support Japanese language learning tools similar to this one, but not ones that are far from complete and operable.

Works decent most of the time.

Is there a way to make the default lanuch page the last page you read? Every time I start the app, it'll take me to another page so I lose my reading progress

Very helpful

This app is great for learning kanji. You just open your regular browser, find the article or text you want to read, copy the link and paste on the app browser. The furigana will appear automatically. Tapping on a word will give its definition.
Highly recommend.

Super pratique

Difficile de comprendre pourquoi cette appli est si peu connue. Elle est vraiment top pour progresser en Japonais tout en surfant sur le web. Je crée mes listes de vocabulaires chaque jour à partir des articles je ne lis puis je les révise régulièrement avec le mode flashcards.
