Useful apps for free
Useful tool to learn japanese
Surprising
This app doesn’t look all that much at first glance however, you have to go through maaaaany different popular Japanese learning apps to realise why this app just does things the right way and doesn’t overload you with cute fonts and crazy good looking UI.. I’m genuinely surprised. The daily function is phenomenal, with the ability to disable Romanji etc - you’ll struggle to find another “daily” flash card app that works this well. The lessons also show all words with smaller kanji underneath kana.. again.. soooo many apps tell you everything in kana, sure it’s great for learning, but you have to at least get used to seeing Kanji used and allow it to absorb via osmosis, naturally. Anyway. It’s a really well thought out app, just looks clean and minimalistic, but delivers serious content the right way.

新しい毎日日本語のアップ
from first use it sounds very good
now the vocabulary list is aligned with the last version of the book (Minna no Nihongo)
I haven’t yet used the special features as it is a free trial without premium paid upgrade (which is much more expensive than the first version...
however, the price is about 2 paper based Japanese books or 1 h lesson with a Japanese speaking lesson
Those who truly learn know the total cost is far more expensive and this App would help us to save time (and money)
The kanji characters are a bit too small.
Also when we learn vocabulary, let’s say we chose only from English, I see : dog
I should say inu, and/or write on a paper inu or いぬ or 犬, right ?
if I click on speaker button I hear inu
so I can check if I was good or wrong
However, once we hear the voice, shouldn’t we have the option to automatically display either romaji, hiragana, kanji to also check ?
because if we do click to one of the buttons to get the display we have to unclick before to move to the next word
So if we want to maximize the time spent saving 2 clicks is about 4000 times clicking and me I need to process this at least 10 time before I it so it’s 40 000 clicks saved, for round #1
鳴らし、覚えし、忘れししているの人ですね!

Garbage app
I paid the outrageous fee of $26.99 to upgrade to premium and it never updated so it charged me and never gave me premium. I then contacted the App Dev, no response. I then contacted iTunes and they told me to send a message through the developers website...the website is empty and has no information. I demanded a refund from iTunes and finally got one.
Not sure what the deal is with this developer but don't spend your money.
