Your own notes on words and kanji: Write a note on any word or kanji — a mnemonic, a grammar point, where you heard it. Notes sync with iCloud and appear right on the detail screen. Search finds them too: entries whose note matches your query rise to the top, with an excerpt showing why. A better word screen: Definitions now come first, and the reading with its pitch accent sits beside the word in a new header. Long words no longer stretch the screen sideways. Celebrate your study sessions: Finishing a review session now ends with one of five celebrations — confetti, fireworks, a teacher's maru, sakura petals, or a trophy — with special praise reserved for a perfect run. Also fixed an iPad issue where selecting a second favorite could leave the stroke-order diagram loading forever.

Thank you so much for such a great app! I'm learning Japanese and using it to practice and memorize kanji. I've tried about 5-6 different kanji apps, but yours is the best! I hope you will continue to develop it further. A couple of suggestions for development: Looped kanji animation; a larger printed kanji on the page, for comparison with the handwritten version; sync favorite kanji and studying list between devices via iCloud; And maybe a list of basic kanji by JLPT levels.

Upd: I found a small bug (iPad) - on the favorites kanji page, as well as on the search page, when switching between kanji, the "Words Using This Kanji" block is not updated
