Interesting but incomplete
This app does indeed have many examples of Japanese joinery, but feels kind of bare bones. Many different kinds of joints, rotatable and animated, plus the name, but thatβs it. They are not categorized or sorted in anyway, no notes on how to make the joints or what the joints are used for. Still useful and interesting, but I would have liked more.

Wow, incredible!!
Zoom in/out, full rotate, sliding progress bar. Short of having a working example of each joint, there could not possibly be a better way to understand how these connections work.
Brilliant
I love this app. You can see how each join is made and many of them are wonderful, almost works of art. It doesn't mean you will be able to construct the joins unless you have the skills and the traditional tools but they are a wonder to behold anyway.
