Wrong translation (not sure)

It’s a good app but I’m confused about the translation off no I know it’s means Ie but it says kekko des

AWSOME!!!

That helps me learning Japanese, awesome app! I do recommend.

Romanized Version Doesn't Match

This app might provide some useful words and phrases, but the romanized version of the phrases often don't seem to match the Japanese character (hiragana) version. For example, the romanized version for one phrase is: "Watashi Wa", while the hiragana actually says (in Japanese): "Watashi no Namae wa". Differences like this make no sense at all. It's almost as if the people who put the app together don't really know Japanese...

Nice

Awesome app!!

Playing up

Words and hiragana are different on most words is this a mistake or sloppyness on your behalf???

Amazing !!!

I love world nomads! It's really easy to use with its simple lay out! You need to do a "plus" app for Japanese 

Onegai Shimas

Onegai shimas upgrade this app and I'll give this a 5 rate pls add some more phrase

Sloppy

In several cases the Japanese hiragana do not correspond to the Roman transliteration. Someone was very sloppy.

Needs Work

Potentially a good app. Simple layout and easy to navigate/use.

Don't quite understand why the romanization doesn't reflect what is written in Japanese? It's like two completely different sentences in places. Other criticism is the romaji needs work.

Very good

O havent listened to or read it all yet but so far what i knoe is all correct, numbers 1 to 10 are deffinately translated right and ao is the rest ive heard, very useful app it could do with the audio for everything and more phrases though...

Great format!

This app is amazing! I just moved to Japan without any language training and this has been great for learning a few polite greetings but falls short in other categories. I downloaded a few other languages and was surprised at how thorough Spanish was. I'd be willing to pay for the app if it had more audio clips.

Great app

Intuitive to use. Clear pronunciation. Can't wait to get the commercial version. Needs more basic vocabularies and phrases.

The script does not match the romaji reading...

As someone who knows a little of the language this app seems functional enough, however it seems the reading of the Japanese characters does not actually match the romaji script! The meanings of the two roughly translate the same however. Very odd!

Mistakes

The romaji and hiragana don't even match...

Okay, but...

There are a lot of problems.

First, I would like to say that the audio is actually quite good. It may be a bit slow, but if you're learning, then that's probably good.

However, what is being said is part of the problem. Quite a few phrases are, while not necessarily inaccurate, not what anyone would actually say. For example, drug should really be "mayaku" rather than "doraggu". And boat should be "fune", not "boto".

Also, what the anglicized version and what the Japanese said were frequently different. It wasn't consistant, either. Sometimes the anglicized version was more accurate, and sometimes the Japanese was more accurate.

Finally, it wasn't enen anglicized correctly. Instead of "r", it had "l". I think there may have been other problems, but at the moment I don't recall them.

In conclusion, it's an okay start, but there are a lot of things that need to be fixed- perhaps have someone who is fluent in both English and Japanese look over it.

Ok, but kind of inaccurate

Great for using on the go for pronunciation and useful phrases, but for the more serious Nihongo enthusiast, the kanji/hiragana don't always match the Roomaji phrases.

Great

To learn Japanese bed time stop being so dense

Not too shabby

Aside from a few typos this is a FREE app that would be worth $1.99 in my opinion~ I like the kanji which so many PAID apps leave out.. It's pretty fun and easy to use :)

alright

its alright  i give it a thumbs up!

One of the Best!

I've been studying Japanese for a while and this is by far one of the best audio I've ever used for it!it makes it more interesting to listen to the conversation than to listen- repeat. Listen- repeat.
