Ne fonctionne pas
Sur iPhone Xs Max l’appli ne marche pas. Aucune fonction correcte. L’application n’est pas à la hauteur du très beau jardin tropical. Dommage.
Not ready for prime time
I was pleasantly surprised to find a free wifi network and a promotion for their iOS app. I thought I'd give it a try.
The app has a beautiful icon, logo and color scheme-- but the home screen has a single button with no visible text. Perhaps my large text setting has screwed up the look on my 6S? I just started tapping around and the menu suddenly appeared from the leftish swipe. I went to the map and the app requested access to my location. The map is a little low res and the arrow is a bit oversized for the proportions of the screen. I then tried to look up a point of interest (confusingly called "During my journey") but the icon is a map pin so that told me what I needed to know. None were listed and so I did a search for "Koi". That found zero results. Note that the first attraction is a pond full of Koi fish and RH sign includes the name Koi. I then tried a QR code. I accidentally denied access to the camera and the app quit. I restarted and chose QR code again. Again a crash. I tried to take a picture in the app. Again a crash. I went into settings and manually allowed the app access to the camera. No more crashes. Then back to the QR code. I held the image within the borders of the screen zone but the app did not automatically read the code. I tried a little farther and a little closer. Held it as steady as I could. I tried tapping the screen to invoke a lookup. No luck. So with no identifiable points of interest and the QR code feature unavailable, I was left with an app that showed me relatively close to my actual location on a custom map. I closed the app and walked around enjoying a low tech journey through the garden. You should too. The garden is great.
