Impossible to move past the first week

This is really glitchy and a complete waste of money. Week one was fine but then it wouldn’t let me move on to week two

Update error

I have just updated my app and the app has lost the functionality to create your own programme (which is extremely annoying as I literally just made a shopping list and brought all items only to return upgrade- and loose my programme and recipes!)
The guide page also seems to be corrupt and referencing the 7-day soup n juice challenge.
Until these bugs are fixed I would not recommend. Outside of this I think the app is great- mainly I have it for the shopping list function and ... the make your own programme... as normally makes much easier to organise!!

Very disappointed

I wish I could get my money back. This is not worth a penny. I love the 28 day app and some of the others, but this one is a waste because there is really nothing of value I here.

No Nutritional Information

I have the book and the app and was disappointed that there's no nutritional information included. I'd like the opportunity to include a juice here and there into 5:2, not be stuck into a rigid plan.
The juices I've tried are delicious but that only adds to my frustration as I like to count my intake on a "fast" day.

Hi, sorry you had issues with this app, please email apps@juicemaster.com . Thank you for your valued feed back. Amy@JuicyHQ. X

Half a program?

Having bought Jason's other apps and really loving them I'm a little disappointed in this one. :( I had hopes for a full plan and paid because I thought perfect juices and food excellent! Now I don't have to think about it! But alas there are only a few meal ideas for non juicing days. You can buy another app for the food portion but I still sort of feel cheated out of my money. I think it really clearly needs to state that this isn't a full 5:2 diet. That it is in fact more of a 2 day juice supplement. The juices look fantastic however, I'm hoping that more food recipes are coming... Maybe they are?

Amazing app, beautiful recipes!

I love the unique recipes in this app and was so happy to receive my update, which allowed me to find amazing new healthy food recipes. I have tried a few and have to say, although I am a rubbish cook– I found them easy to follow and absolutely delicious!
My lifestyle has now changed to include more ‘juicy’ days and amazing healthy meals on the non juice days (at the weekend I’ll still allow little treats but hey, I’m only human!)
So pleased I bought this, it’s also a great reference just for some delicious juice and healthy food recipes if you’re not following the plan as such. Such a great way to boost any healthy lifestyle :)

Fantastic App!

The app is really easy to navigate and looks great! The basil blush recipe is real tasty and the Low HI food recipes are delicious as stand alone recipes.

5:2 App Update is.......AWESOME!!

Just went to my app for a bit of inspiration and was pleasantly surprised by the automatic update! Sooooo many new juice recipes and....FOOD! Everything you need to do the plan properly without getting stuck for ideas!

AMAZING

Yet another fantastic app from Jason. The app is extremely easy to use with great photos and simple descriptions. The juices all taste great and doing a 5:2 diet has never been easier, no calorie counting or room for confusion, just juice for 2 days a week.
I find this such an easy plan to follow and feel so cleansed and energised and clear headed after my days on just juice.

Would recommend this app to anyone especially someone new to juicing who just wants to do a 24 or 48 hour juice cleanse. But for all us die hard juicers it's also a fantastic way of maintaining a fit, healthy body and waistline!

Thank you Jason

Dissappointing

A very dissappointing app. Essentially it is just juice recipes. There's a short video introduction and some general blurb on 5:2 diet principles, but little else. Four juices bundles are listed in the menu, each consisting of 8 juices (4 for each day of the two days you are on a juice fast), but two of the bundles are in-app purchases. so for your £2.99, you get 16 juice recipes. Jason talks breifly about what to eat on the non-juice days, but there are no recipes: another referral to another app for those!

Won't Load

The app won't load. That's all I can say.

Can even see it.

I'm sure the app is great but it's not loading onto my device. Can see the shadow of where if should but it's not doing anything. Tried restarting the download a number of times but it's not making any difference.

Great App just know what your buying

Hi everyone I love this app,but have read some negative reviews mainly because people are not sure what they are buying. This app has one welcome video from Jason. No videos on how to make the juices, unlike his other apps. What you get is eight juice recipes.A shopping list. A day planer on what juice to drink and when. The juices have been calorie counted to work within the 5:2 diet principles. All which are explained in the welcome video by Jason. So understand what your buying and your be happy with your purchase.

5:2 Diet App is a disappointmnet.

All style and not very user friendly. Maybe okay on a iPad but on my iPhone the styalised text is not so easy to read. Also I find the shopping list confusing.... TODAY... TOMORROW Day 1... 2 Days... so what about day 2? Keep it simple... the 'tap to tick' for the days I wanted to shop for as in the 3-Day and 5-Day app is perfect! Easy! I don't have try to figure anything out...

Don't buy if you have his other apps

Having used the 28 day juicing plan successful I was looking forward to this app.
I was extremely disappointed as it gives exactly the same juices as the other app but just called them something different.
I was also expecting some suggestions/recipes of what to eat on the non juices days.
So I thought the description was misleading.
I'm sure it's great if you haven't used any of his other app.

Love this!

This is such a simple handy app to have. I love juicing for the 5:2 because I know I'm getting loads of great nutrition - which lets face it is hard when you're trying to only eat 500 calories a day! This app provides a selection of 8 yummy juices from which you choose 4 for your fasting days. Now I know i'm within my allowance & the shopping list planner really helps.

Not worth it!

Definitely a waste of money. The 8 recipes can be found online. Nothing special at all. Joe Cross's app has many more recipes!

Mrs

Having bought all his apps. I am not happy. Description should be clear. This only has two days of juicing recipes. Then it just says eat whole foods. I expected at least a sample menu.

Not enough recipes!

Love the Jason Vale apps- have most of them and have done the 5 day a couple of times and then just completed the 28 day (phew!). However disappointed with this new app- you only get 8 juice recipe choices. I realise it's 5:2, and with 4 juices a day you only need 8 juices a week- but it would have been great to have more juices to choose from. More choices would help make it a more sustainable programme as you wouldn't get bored. With a heavy heart I feel this isn't value for money- sorry Jason and the juicy team :(

Not as good as the other apps.

Great idea for a juicing program, however it's disappointing the app doesn't contain videos of Jason making the juices, unlike all his other apps. Instead you just have the ingredients list, a bit of nutritional info and a pretty photo. I would save your money and simple create your own 5:2 day plan using 4 (per day) recipes from his other plans.
