Jazz Private Browser

Jazz Browser is a web browser for iPhone and iPad, built on Apple's WebKit engine. It blocks trackers, keeps separate sets of logins in named containers, and has a VPN you can switch on from a tab inside the browser. It is completely free: no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no paid tier, no trial, no ads. BROWSING - Tabs, a tab grid, private tabs, pinned tabs and a list of recently closed tabs - Bookmarks, history, shortcuts on the start page, find on page - Reader mode for long articles - Page translation that runs on the device with Apple's built-in translator, so the page text never leaves your iPhone or iPad - Picture in picture, and audio that keeps playing in the background with lock screen controls - Downloads saved into the Files app, a choice of search engine including custom ones, light and dark themes CONTAINERS Named containers such as Work, Personal and Shopping each keep their own cookies and logins, so the same site can be two independent sessions at once. Unlike a private tab, a container remembers the sign-in. It is about separation, not forgetting. BLOCKING - Built-in content blocking rules, plus filter list subscriptions in Adblock Plus format (EasyList, EasyPrivacy, Peter Lowe's list) converted to WebKit content rules - Link cleaning strips tracking parameters such as utm_source and fbclid from the links you follow, so a link you forward no longer carries a marker pointing back to you - Page report: how many resources the page loaded, which third-party domains it contacted, which of those are known trackers, and whether the page and everything on it arrived over HTTPS - Leak protection: three WebKit subsystems (DNS prefetch, WebAuthn, WebTransport) can reach the network around the proxy and expose your real address. The browser can shut them down for one site or everywhere. PER-SITE SETTINGS JavaScript, images, autoplay, desktop layout and text zoom are kept per domain and survive a restart. LOCK AND CLEAN-UP - Lock the browser with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode; it locks as soon as you leave the app - Clear history, cookies and site data when you exit, with control over what gets cleared VPN The VPN is off until you tap connect. It is built on Apple's Network Extension framework, covers the whole device, and keeps working when the browser is closed. - Pick a server location - Split tunneling: decide what goes through the tunnel and what goes direct - Before the VPN can be turned on, a screen explains exactly what data is processed FREE Jazz Browser is free.
