Exactly what I was looking for. Just doesn’t work later in lessons.
There doesn’t seem to be any other app like this. The problem is that once you start getting into music that is longer than one measure, the app isn’t playing anything beyond that. Progess is impossible then. I’m guessing this is a bug that will never be fixed, as this was released four years ago. Would have gladly given 5 stars if it was actually functional.

Potential
It has the potential to be a very good way to learn transcription. I think there is some kind of bug however. When playing the audio I can only hear the first page of notes but not the second. So when I try to submit it says I’m wrong. When I used the hints on the second page there were notes and I couldn’t hear them on the audio. Please fix because I love this app but cannot progress if these ghost notes are a thing.

Cute & fun
The cats are cute and it’s challenging but fun transcribing music. I also enjoy making my own compositions, and it’s more fun with more unlocked cats. :)
