Jamuna Bank Limited is a commercial entity but its objective is not to make profit only but also to be sensitive and committed to its social responsibilities. Jamuna Bank is the pioneer in the Banking sector in Bangladesh in discharging corporate social responsibilities from its inception. With an arm of enhancing support for unprivileged people of the society, the members of the Board of Directors of the Bank were inspired to found the Jamuna Bank Foundation (JBF). It is a non-profit & charitable organization which has been serving since 2007 with the objective of administering CSR activities in a planned and integrated way. JBF strongly believes that CSR activities is not a charity but the right of the under privileged people and the society as a whole from a corporate entity. JBF conduct various CSR activities from the sense of accountabilities and responsibilities to the society.
