Jamnagar Chamber of Commerce & Industry (Formerly known as The Nawanagar Chamber of Commerce & Industry) was established on 22 May 1933 by his Highness Jam Saheb Digvijaysinhji Jadeja. The Jam Saheb visited London and the London Chamber of Commerce in his time and was inspired to set up a similar Chamber for Jamnagar. Jamnagar Chamber of Commerce & Industry is one of the oldest Chambers of the Western Region of the country. The Chamber is affiliated with FICCI, CII IMC, GCCI and other national level trade organizations. Jamnagar Chamber has a membership strength of more then 1000 members and 30 affiliated associations. It functions through several panels, which are headed by experts in their fields, for representation to various government and non-government organizations on various issues concerning business, trade and commerce.
