Best app
Best Jellyfin music player by far!
Really nice experience
I’ve tried a few Jellyfin clients and this is by far my favorite. Works great, easy to navigate and I appreciate the customization options. Would love to see this come to macOS and AppleTV.
Doesn’t show genre
Seems to be good, but missing genre list. I like to play an entire genre and shuffle mode. If you add genre and options to remove others like artists, tracks and play lists then will switch to.
BEST MUSIC APP
Hands down the best music app I’ve ever used for Jellyfin. The app is so easy to use. It supports synced lyrics and has an elegant and intuitive interface. I’m very impressed with the quality of this app and am looking forward to the future of this app. I’d love to see more CarPlay features and functionality.

Best open source Jellyfin music player
The CarPlay app could use some work but this app keeps getting better and better on phone
Not backwards compatible
Jellify refuses to connect to jellyfin 10.8~. I saw this issue in android with some apps. I know it’s recommended to update jellyfin but we’ve tried newer versions only to find a ton of issues, in particular with their new database system. Which is why we stick to 10.8 for stability. Sadly Jellify will not connect to it and can’t use it. Is it difficult to add backwards compatibility? I don’t know but other apps offer it.

Impressive
I’ve tried all the other JF music apps and this one is the best, a little rough around the edges but improving in leaps with each update. Well done team!
Awesome Jellyfin Music Player
Great job making this; not only the way it works but the look of it as well, love the purple!
Has potential
I really want this project to succeed, because Jellyfin badly needs a strong music client to compete with PlexAmp. There’s already a lot to like here, and the development cycle is impressively fast. If that momentum continues, this app has real potential to outpace others quickly. Even the most recent update delivered a noticeable performance improvement.
I care deeply about owning my music rather than just streaming it, and people like me are actively looking for a polished, capable app built around that philosophy. PlexAmp’s sonic analysis and “similar music” playback are genuinely excellent, but I’m not a fan of its proprietary, paid model—it feels fundamentally at odds with true music ownership.
If this app can modernize the UI and introduce compelling auto-mixes or radio-style playback on the home screen, it would be a huge step forward. Jellyfin may not support sonic analysis, but creative use of metadata—genre, decade, style, mood, etc.—could still enable great radio and discovery features, possibly in combination with MusicBrainz Picard or similar tools.
If you can add the ability to start with a single song and seamlessly continue playing similar music—even offline, using downloaded tracks—this app would be legendary. As a longer-term wish, the option to supplement a local library with music sourced directly from YouTube (with ad-blocking behavior similar to Brave) would be incredible. This could serve as discovery and help me decide what I’d like to seek out next for permanent inclusion in my library.
Design-wise, taking inspiration from Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music makes a lot of sense, but with its own unique style. If updates keep landing at this pace and quality, I could genuinely see myself switching to this over PlexAmp. Also, please let me leave star ratings on my tracks, I want to rate my music library, even half stars maybe as opt in setting?

Love the initiative but cannot get it to connect
Tried using this on an iPhone (iOS 26.2) and JellyFin (http only) on my local network (over WiFi). Whatever I try, it won’t connect. Other JellyFin apps connect without issue, and unfortunately cannot find a FAQ or support page. ☹️
CarPlay functions not great, rest of the app pretty good
CarPlay functions needs a lot of work
Nice App
This is my favorite music client for jellyfin. Very functional and good looking.
I found one small bug. If my jellyfin server goes offline but my phone is still connected to the internet, then the ui of the app seems to freeze and become unusable. If I turn off the wifi and data connections on my phone, then the app goes into offline mode and I can listen to my downloads. I'd like to have access to my music even if my server goes down.

A great alternative to other players.
