How do you it?

This is not intuitive. Please add an intuitive users interface to easily know what to do. There is no link back to you, I had to vine and add this review. So fatter I cannot use it.

You do have a huge amount of paid color pallets available, that is good, but after scrolling and scrolling and scrolling, how do you know where you’ve been and seen?

I suggest that you have a color group (as the background, maybe with a horizontal line to denote a group change)..have each color group have ten pallets. Each set of ten pallets will have a number with big bold font to that group (1. 2, 3, etc., or letter A, B, C, etc) and it will have its own background color

And within each group of ten, each pallet will have its own individual number associated with it. E.G., 1, 2, 3, …9, 10, 11, 12, … 19, 29, 21, …. Two leads to distinguish the vast color sets.

I’ve tried several ways to get the all to sync w my bridge and it doesn’t

There are no instructions inside the app. Not any link to instructions.

You might like but I couldn’t figure it out

I like the very few free selections but I got all lights on in all rooms and could not turn off. I needed better instructions. Developer asked me to update review but I don’t have anything to add. You might like this app but it wasn’t for me.

We do not believe we should charge users to buy the app before trying it out. For this reason our app is free to try and has a one time purchase so folks can make their mind up. You can turn lights off/dim using the 3rd tab at the top. Thanks and hope you will reconsider your review.

Most used Hue app

As the title says, this has become my most used hue app & I have tried them all 😉. It just works & has a great user interface as well. More than happy to pay for the pro unlock rather than some crazy subscription fee like many others have. As far as future update wishlist goes, I hope we get some zone support & maybe some animations of some sort in a future update!

Beautify in simplicity

Very simple app with a lovely design and it just works! So many hue apps have awful UI and it’s impossible to actually get good colour combinations, but not with this one. Immediately bought the full version for seemingly endless colour combos.
This app has found beautify in simplicity

The one suggestion I have for a possible update is a new icon on the brightness sliders for the different products. My Hue Go shows as a lightbulb (so I assume everything does). At this point, I’m just nitpicking though.

No multi bridge support

Good app, love the amount of variety you can choose from. Works better with a lot of lights in one area.

Major downfall for me is the lack of a multi bridge support. Would be great to see. But looks like the app is Not being developed any further

Thanks for the review. This feedback has come up before from other users and we see this can be a not so uncommon scenario. This would require a large redesign of how our App works and may not be added that soon. I do hope Philips will extend the max number of bulb support on their bridges in the future.

App speichert sich nicht die gewünschte Farbeinstellung

Durch mehrmaliges Draufdrücken auf eine Szene verändert sich immer wieder der Farbverlauf. Alles soweit ok. Hat man dann seinen Lieblingsfarbverlauf gefunden kann man diesen per Links-Swipe zu seinen Favoriten hinzufügen.
Wählt man nur eine andere Szene und wechselt danach zu seinen Favoriten um die Szene auszuwählen die man sich zuvor abgespeichert hat, ist der Farbverlauf wieder komplett anders wie man ihn sich eigentlich abgespeichert hat.

Looks great

Looks great with loads of pallets, however I can’t seem to find out if it supports multiple bridges as once one is selected there doesn’t seem to be a way to add another.
Shame as the colour schemes are great.

Great App

I really love this app. I’d like to give it 4.5 stars but I can’t. It’s simple, easy to use and it has many colorful palettes to choose from. The only thing which would make it five stars for me is the ability to make my own palettes. I hope we can look forward to that in a future update.

Thanks for the review! We may consider adding your suggested feature in the future but currently the spirit of Jelly for Hue is to make trying different palettes easy. We do however have support to cycle the bulbs to a specific color in the palette you have selected by tapping on each bulb in the customization page. You can find the perfect combination for your lights like this using the selected palette and save it. Hope this is some help for now.

I want to love this

The colors are beautiful, whimsical and spot on matches to what they are supposed to represent. However! I have a huge Hue collection which includes some Hue Switches. The switches control some specialty lights I wanted to manage through the Hue App that don’t have Hue bulbs, my lava lamp for example. I also have several of the Hue Filament bulbs that I don’t always want on for some color moods because they don’t match the tone. There’s no way in this app to select specific lights or groups and turn them off. EVERY TIME I change the color theme these come back on, even after I go in to the specific light list and turn them off. Suuuuuper lame feature that seems like a no brainer. I can’t even find a settings option inside the app...? The app is so cute and beautifully designed. It’s really disappointing that there is no way to customize the controls even a little bit more, when the main function of having Hue lights is controlling and setting the mood. Some of the best color combos I’ve seen, amazing price, gorgeous design, easy to use, but lame lock out of customization. Would be a five star app with a few tweaks.

What you are suggesting will be added in next version where you will be able to configure a zone with only specific lights. You can create these zones through Philips' Hue app but currently our app does not yet support viewing the zones. Stay tuned and hope we can win back those last 3 stars!

It’s okay, but critically missing zones for me

I use hue lights outside and inside, and I use zones to play with lights without annoying my neighbors by flickering my porch lights over and over.

You can only change lights by room or change all of them at once, but you can’t make use of zones you defined in the original hue app.

I’m pretty disappointed that this doesn’t have zones. I bought into it assuming it would but I guess I shouldn’t have assumed that.

Rekindled my love of my hue lights!

I’ve been collecting hue lights for the past five years, and I’m a huge fan of apps that can randomize scenes to a pallet like iConnectHue. What makes Jelly For Hue different, is that there is a plethora of exciting pallets that push your bulbs to the millions of colors they are capable of. This isn’t another full saturation randomizer. You’re going to see colors from your lights that you have yet to think of.

The color pallets are curated and are top notch! Worth every penny for the upgrade!

The app experience is fresh and fun! Not to mention that the Developer is great. Since I have a huge hue collection, I have many rooms. I ran into a problem where the bounding box of the room selector modal was larger than the top of my iPhone, and it was displaying behind the top navigation menu. Vlad took the bug report seriously and fixed the issue post haste! Even emailed me back to let me know that he acknowledged the issue and fixed it. This experience was just as enjoyable as using this fun app itself!!!

Wonderful Little App

I just love this app. It is so simple, yet build with so much attention to detail. The design is a 10/10. It’s cute, perfect. Easy to follow. A joy to look at. It works with no hiccups. Pro Version is weak.

Paid for pro, not impressed. It has no user controls beyond changing color. There’s no timer or progress display. I know I can use the default app, but i paid for an app to control scenes. The current pro version should be free, and the real pro version should unlock way more features.

We allow all our users to use all features right from the Free version. Our only limitation in the Free version is the available Scenes on our cloud platform. Our flat one-time purchase Pro version is aimed to be the most fairly priced Hue Scenes app out there. We take pride in being as transparent as possible with all the app features to give our users the choice if they enjoy our app to unlock all Scenes.

Was recommended this by a friend who has Hue lights, love the interface and palettes! Such a nicely put together app. Highly recommend it.

Beautiful design, lack of features

I purchased the pro version expecting more. Wish there was an on and off button. Wish I could make my own palettes. There are no timing features either. Please update for more, really like the design and want to see it work for me. Thank you.

Adding an instant on/off switch is definitely on the roadmap while other of the suggestions are part of Philips' default app which provides functions such as custom scenes and timing setup.

Jelly ist eine super Ergänzung zur klassischen Hue App. Die vorgefertigten Farb-Paletten sind größtenteils geschmackvoll und bieten teils Farbkombinationen an, die ich sonst wohl nie ausprobiert hätte.

Gerade im Vergleich zu anderen Drittanbieter-Apps nun endlich mal eine schön gestaltete Variante.
