Best player but missing some key features
Of the Jellyfin players I’ve used, it has by far the best media player. If watching a movie this will be my go to.
Seriously lacking for watching TV series. Doesn’t auto play to next episode and doesn’t keep progress properly in episode if you leave mid episode.
Will be keeping an eye on future updates, but sadly not my go to player for the time being.

Could be better
Could playback everything in my library. Better than the OEM client. Direct play works reliably, but it looks like it is using software decode, because my phone heats up on even on 1080p content. Downloads functionality don’t work at all. It won’t play downloads offline, and the delete downloads don’t actually delete anything.

Awesome Jellyfin App
This app brings all the features missing in Jellyfin like genre based sections. Another review wrote that the app felt sluggish - I can’t confirm this. For me it works quick and stable! The only thing missing would be AppleTV support, or maybe I’m not doing something right.
App is crashing
Error : TCP:ffurl-read returned 0xffffffc7. Not sure what it means, but it might be helpful for the bugging.
Even simple operations like search or browsing through the app, all of a sudden the app crashes, we need to reopen that again . When I try to load the app on the first load app looks very slowly, the images, etc

Its by far the most stable jellyfin streamer.
The other ones aren’t well tuned for ipados or are unstable. I hope this app continues to be developed.
