I love this book, but why did it become a monthly subscription for those of us who already had purchased the app? Seems a bit unfair to me.

Unfortunate
I paid for this app several years ago (around $10) to OWN it - like I own the book. Now they want me to pay $36 annually for what I already paid for. That’s unfortunate.

I purchased Jesus Calling years ago and loved using it for those years. Now they want me to pay a monthly fee to use it. How can the deny my access for something I already paid for. I guess their God has become the almighty dollar!$!

What happened to my book?
I purchased this years ago and now I opened it today and all but the first week of January is locked unless I pay for a monthly subscription! Why so greedy!?
Pathetic
Whoever is in charge of this app needs to make every day of the year completely free of charge to read. It’s pathetic that people have to pay for a subscription just to access the full devotional. This is supposed to be an app centered around sharing God’s Word and encouraging people in their faith, yet so much of the content is locked behind a paywall. At the very least, every daily devotional should be freely accessible without requiring a subscription. Faith shouldn’t feel like a subscription service. Do better!
