More meditations please
I love the way these meditations are set up. I love that they are Jesus centered. I am only able to find 3 meditations currently. That is the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.
Beautiful
I love this app. One is gently led into stillness by a beautifully calming voice. Then, The Words of Christ are shared with times of silence between phrases. I love the option of adding ambient sound. The flute is my favorite. One wish is for a pause button, allowing one to linger over a phrase, if they desire. Thank you for this app. It is a blessing in my life.

Perfect Prayer Refection App
I am a Christian and practice centering prayer and meditation daily. This is the perfect app for anyone wanting to drown their understanding and connection with God! The mediations help me focus on scripture, what Jesus really said and intended, and then gives time to reflect on the important, life giving words. Go with the slow flow of this app... giving yourself the time to really absorb the message is life changing!

Just the Beautiful Words of Jesus!
When reading Jesus’s words in the Gospels, it’s so easy to move on too quickly and not give His life-giving, life-changing words the full contemplation they deserve. This soothing and calming app guides us to ponder His teachings for 15, 20, 30 minutes at a time. What an inspiring and joyful way to start every morning!

Simple, excellent
This app is exactly what I was looking for. If you are new to meditation, especially if you are a Christian, this is a perfect start.
Each meditation is simply a passage of scripture, mostly centered around the life of Jesus. The guide leads you through a few steps to help you focus, becoming aware of sounds and thoughts and so on, and then reads each verse with a period of silence (or ambient sound if you choose) in between. You can set the length of time; I found 20 minutes to be great. At the end she reads the passage in its entirety and then encourages you to take a few minutes to consider your thoughts and journal (there is a place to record notes on each meditation in the app).
The setup is so effective because you find yourself dwelling on the visual details or meaning of the words, but you don’t have enough time to extrapolate theology or get distracted. It keeps you focused but receptive and for me, it totally brought out different details and emotions from familiar stories.
The woman reading the text is wonderful. I have tried other meditation apps where the guide honestly made me roll my eyes the whole time because it was so cheesy or pretentious. But her voice is so undistracting and unhurried.
As an app, the format is very basic and a little old-fashioned looking, not much customization, but works very well. I wouldn’t mind more features like a lock screen mode or other sounds but if the creators are putting their time toward recording new meditations instead I like the app how it is.

Response from developer
Hi Hannah, thank you so much for taking the time to write a review, giving some insight in your experience with the app and explaining how it works. Awesome! Especially on itunes we don´t have many reviews yet and we are really thankful for every voice that supports our vision with Jesus Words Meditation. Once again, a big thank you!
