About

Jetsplit puts a whole aircraft in your hands. Drag to spin it, pinch to zoom, then tap any part to pop it off the airframe and see what it is made of and what it does. Tap again to snap it back. Or hit SPLIT ALL and watch the entire jet burst into an exploded view. THREE AIRCRAFT IN THE HANGAR • JS-200 Twinjet Airliner: 13 parts, from the nose cone to the landing gear • JS-40 Turboprop Commuter: propellers, high wing and a short-field undercarriage • JS-7 Light Trainer: a compact single-engine airplane with fixed gear Every model is built from scratch in the app. No manufacturer names, no licensed liveries, just clean generic airframes you can take apart. PART CARDS Each part opens a spec sheet: code, category, material and a short plain-English explanation of its job on the aircraft, plus a fun fact worth repeating. TEARDOWN CHALLENGE A timed mode. Remove the parts in the order the brief asks for (propulsion first, then tail, then wings and so on). Wrong taps cost seconds. Finish for an A, B or C grade and chase your own best score. PARTS QUIZ The app highlights one part on the 3D model and gives you four names. Ten questions per round, best score saved on your device. MADE FOR PHONES • Portrait layout with a slide-up part drawer • Smooth one-finger orbit, two-finger zoom and pan, RESET VIEW to recentre • Haptic feedback when parts detach and reattach (can be switched off) • SNAPSHOT saves a picture of your exploded view through the standard iOS share sheet NO ACCOUNT NEEDED There is no sign-in and nothing to set up. Best scores and settings stay on your phone. Jetsplit is free to download and supported by occasional ads. Good for aviation fans, students, curious minds and anyone who has ever looked out of a window seat and wondered what that thing on the wingtip is for.
