About
Sit down and the table fills up. Three players join you, each with a name, an avatar and their own way of talking in the table chat — then the cards come out. The official rules, a faithfully restored 1898 Grimaud deck, and opponents that genuinely play. No adverts, no account to create.
• 3, 4 or 5 players, with the king call at 5 and a partner who stays secret until the first trick
• Every contract: Small, Guard, Guard without the dog, Guard against the dog
• Every rule that matters: the discard, single, double and triple handfuls, petit au bout, announced slam
• Opponents that count cards: they follow suit, ruff, overtrump when they must, protect the petit and never hand their oudlers to the taker
• Three opponent levels and an adjustable pace, from calm to fast
• Detailed scoring after every deal: oudlers, points, contract made or gone down, handfuls and petit au bout
• Review the last trick whenever you like, sort your hand your way, playable cards highlighted on your turn
• Table chat: your opponents comment, congratulate and grumble — and you can type back whatever you like
• Coin tables from Apprentice to Master, a weekly league, daily missions, free coins every four hours and a fortune wheel
• Felts, card backs and avatars to unlock as you play
• No adverts, ever. No account, no sign-up. Fully offline, on a train or a plane
Opponents are computer players, clearly labelled. Cards by B.P. Grimaud, Paris, 1898 (public domain).

What's New in Jeu de Tarot
1.0.2
September 17, 2026
Your first games are friendlier now: tell us you are new to Tarot and the table takes it easy on you until you have found your feet. The other players also behave more like people — they no longer all greet you at once when you sit down, and they talk one at a time. Plus small fixes throughout.
