New version but fails on bookmarks
Why canβt the app return me to the last page I viewed?
Setting a bookmark fails to make it appear in the my content area.

No iTunes access
It does not provide for access to an iTunes subscription. Until this is provided my subscription is wasted!

Ranks with the best online newspapers
There are a myriad of newspapers and magazines that are now online. Not that many achieve the goal which is to make it as easy as possible to read the online print as if it was the real paper in your hand . The Jewish News achieves this.

Very amateur ePaper. Surprising that subscribers have to pay extra for this.
Very poor ePaper
This is an electronic version of the print AJN. It is little more than that and compares badly with other ePapers. The downloads are slow and the app crashes too often. Making a good ePaper requires more than just printing it with a PDF writer. Subscribing through the App Store is clumsy and makes it a commitment for a year at a time, unlike other papers that offer a more flexible subscription model.

Really clumsy attempt at digital publication. Just a digitized version of printed version rather than an actual digital newspaper. Disappointed.

The download process is a bit slow.

This app is a very clever representation of the physical newspaper combined with multimedia videos to enhance the experience. Excellent.

Far too slow to download and once downloaded slow to 'paint' each page to read

Download very slow especially when you are overseas one edition took2 days
Very convenient but too slow
I'm using an iPad 1 and find the pages too slow to load. If I try to enlarge an article so as to read it, it becomes blurry for quite some time. However,it is very convenient to read on the iPad and so much better for the environment.

An index page allowing readers to jump directly to their preferred section would be great as well as making scrawling from one page to the other easier
Disappointing
Pages take wayyy to long to load - makes it near impossible to read as a paper. Often parts of the pages will look blurry for over 30 seconds.
No response from customer service when they were emailed - they also have a very high admin fee when cancelling subscriptions - so I'm stuck on a one year subscription.
Try to fix these problems in future updates! You could use lower resolution images. No one needs to zoom that much, and I'd they do, they probably aren't using an iPad.
