Great music but beset by technical issues
Fantastic selection of music, in particular Jazz Funk that you don’t hear enough of on other stations but there are plenty of technical issues. Inconsistent sound levels, mic levels and drop outs let the station down.
Not a great App
When exiting this application, the music may disconnect, particularly when accessing Facebook while attempting to listen to Jfsr in the background. It may be beneficial to observe the practices employed by YouTube, as music discontinuity does not occur when transitioning from the YouTube app. Furthermore, there are persistent issues with the online connectivity of this application. On numerous occasions, I have encountered error messages indicating a lack of internet connection when attempting to access online content. These connectivity issues should be addressed promptly.

Just been put in touch with this station from one of the presenters Martin Sloan and after 2 mins I’m hooked some great sounds and looking forward to Tuesday eve 6–8pm to listen to Martins show cheers Martin just brilliant. JK

Great radio station and App
JFSR is a great station for everything in the soul, jazz, funk world. I was brought up on the sounds coming from the USA around the late 1970’s/1980’s (all those great Imports...) and the then onto the HipHop, House etc. Even though I thought I’d heard it all before, JFSR seems to find some great tunes that I have never heard before 😀 (maybe I missed them while I was at school 🤣)
What would be the icing on the cake would be to have the app display what the song is that is playing, then perhaps have a list of songs that were played during each show.
