App is glitchy, won’t download after purchase and LOUD even if device is muted
I do have a few sample downloads and full purchases from Moo Moo Lab, and while not as good as many other kids games, the price for what you get ad-free is fair, if you actually got what you paid for.
All their apps open on full volume, EVERYTIME even if you have your device muted or in ‘silent’ mode. Makes this app worthless in stores, restaurants, but especially church functions (funerals/weddings) when kids NEED to be silent. It’s the ONLY child apps I purchased that do this. Why? Defeats the purpose of my download and purchase!
There’s also no way in the app to contact the developers with these issues. You must search the App Store for an email address that the developer won’t bother answer assuming they received and read it.
IMO it’s likely because these apps aren’t properly maintained by the developers. I think they take what we’ll pay and then ignore necessary updates since chances are your child will move on to other apps within months (a year at most) after purchase. But I’m a grandmother of seven, so as one moves on in age appropriateness to something different, another moves into this one. Same holds for parents who purchase this for their first child, thinking they’ll use it for subsequent children. Won’t happen.
I have apps that I downloaded almost 10 years ago, on a different format, that are better in every way (graphics, educationally and diversity) but also they’ve been maintained with a way to get help with issues I’ve mentioned. Search out those apps, change to read all recent reviews as well as critical ones, ignore those who complain they don’t get it all for free (everyone deserves to be paid for their work/job) but pass these developers too. They just don’t seem to care or show any integrity and when it comes to your kiddos, you don’t need that.

The apps offers great support skill for my child’s development
Great variety!
I was very surprised with the variety of puzzles this app had. Many puzzle apps have few options for puzzles. My two year old was entertained for our three hour road trip.
