Royal Kingdom FRUSTRATION

Why does the Royal kingdom advert take over this game. I have now been sitting for 20 minutes before giving up - I can’t get rid of the advert at all despite clicking on the ‘x’ button over and over again and that is after closing the app down and opening again. Please help as I am elderly and enjoy these puzzles.
