About

Jimmy is the system of record for how a product gets made: artwork to a factory, a quote back, samples, approvals, and the purchase order. This app is Jimmy on your phone, for the parts of the job that don't happen at a desk. • Find any item by name, style number, or by photographing it • Scan a sample's QR code to pull up everything about it • See where an item stands with every factory — who quoted, at what, and what's late • Read and answer the conversation on an item • Send what you're looking at to your desktop TRADE SHOWS Photograph a business card and Jimmy fills in the contact. Log the stands you visit, capture items, and record what each factory quotes so you can rank them. It all works with no signal — show halls rarely have one — and uploads itself when you're back. Jimmy is used by invitation from your company. You'll need an account to sign in.

What's New in Jimmy PLM

Comments, wherever they were written. A comment in Jimmy can be written by your team, by a factory in its portal, or on a sculpture — and the app was only showing the first kind. On a lot of items that meant a conversation full of replies read as "No comments yet". Every one of them is here now, under the factory it was with, saying which round and which order it was about. Tapping "Open and reply" in a review email opens that factory's thread with the box ready, and an @mention opens in Jimmy instead of the browser. You can approve a round, ask for a revision or disqualify a factory from your phone. Each one says what it does before it happens, and sign-off still works the way it does on the desktop. Trade shows: • Several photos of one item — catch the carton marking and the packaging, not just the product • Tag what you shot as product, carton, packaging or booth while you're still at the stand • A factory's own table: everything they showed you and what they wanted for it, grouped by visit And one destination for an item: scanning a QR, searching, and tapping a result all land on the same page, on the right factory.
