Could not be easier to setup or use. Lots of really nice features. Liked it so much after setting up first pair of plugs, that I immediately ordered several more sets. Countdown timer is very handy; use it all the time. With scenes, groups and schedules you can get creative and handle pretty much any scenario imaginable.

Used to love and update ruined half my outlets
This app used to work great and I was able to set timers (multiple) on all my outlets. I used them for years and it was great. This recent update has made it impossible for me to use any timer function on most of them. All I get is a timer countdown. Why would you ruin a perfectly good app and make my outlets unusable??? I can’t even change the old timers so now have outlets that are useless. So angry about this!!!
Make it like it used to be! I don’t want a shutoff timer, I need to be able to schedule them like you used to be able to.

Super convenient
These have truly been amazing. We go to different states and we turn lamps on and off, fish tank everything. We have been using it for 2-3 years now and even after power outages I’ve never had to reconnect them or anything after the initial plug in. I love it.
works well but kinda sketchy
works really well and, except for a few hiccups, it is always really quick and efficient and turning on my lights! my only issue is, every time i have some text copied, i get a notification that it is getting pasted multiple times when I’m in the app. i never type on here, so it’s a little weird, but the app works well

Watch for the app, it is pasting all content from phone memory
App started giving the message that “ Jinvoo pasted from ..... “ . I have tried couple of copying and each time app showed a message that “Jinvoo pasted from ..... “

Most of time it works!
Fir the most part the plug and app work really good.
They need to fix the app, when you tap it the part to turn your lights on and off does not come ups. You have to hit a button to get to the switches. Also, that button moves. You think you going to hit it then it moved on you.

Scraping the clipboard
Failing to find any support contact for “Ping Kwong Yip” I’m opting to put this in reviews.
It seems the Jinvoo Smart app scrapes my clipboard information. Or at the very least triggers something that causes iOS to notify me that “Jinvoo has pasted from <app name>”. I’ve been able to reproduce this event several times across multiple apps. And I have to say, if you’re scraping and storing from my (or anybody’s) clipboard... not cool. At all.
Given that you don’t have a readily available privacy policy, it’s difficult to say if I’ve “agreed” to this.
If I don’t get a response from the developer I’ll be getting rid of the app, and the devices. If you’re scraping the clipboard and collecting that information without my express permission, god knows what your IOT is collecting on my network.

Security and privacy issue
This app I am using for 3 years now. I just realized it has been hacking my phone and copying all my data. Especially clipboard. I came to know after iOS launched new feature that informs you what data from clipboard the app just copied. Then I did a little digging with some network scanning utilities and turns out the server in china is pinging a lot of data from my phone. Plus from the device itself it tries to sniff attack on my network but I use VPN so thats not possible.
I warn everyone, delete this app immediately. Another Chinese hacker app. Only if I could give them -5. I am going to sue this company for privacy invasion.
I ask Apple to investigate this app and take it down for good.

The clickable area around the interface’s buttons must have been reduced to a tiny size - this causes the user to mostly miss the “target”
Is it possible that this area has been reduced for the purpose of generating CLICKS? That’s why the only 3 stars. But there must something I can do? I thought problem solved by clicking on what I thought would be a larger area - that is, the icon images of the device itself (to the left of the buttons, hoping to have problem solved, but no, its still too hard to find the “sweet spot.” Please fix this so I can up the review.

add a timer-ed on and off feature please?
the APP is pretty straight forward, easy to use. just make sure you stay updated with the firmware, becuz when it's out of date, te scheduled ons and offs will not work.
out of many good timer/schedule functions, please add a timed time interval for on and off. for example, I can just press a "5" or "10" or whatever mins or hour of time interval for a particular power outlet to turn it on or off for that period of duration. ie, I have a plug for a light in the socket #1. I go to the corresponding socket option on the APP and I just tap the ''5 mins off'' botton and the light will be off for 5 mins then back on automatically.

Works Well
I’ve got these things everywhere now - double plug switches that is. The app does a pretty good job of controlling them. Really great for devices that I forget to turn off before I go to bed or want to control after I’ve gotten there. Been using the devices and app for two or three years now. Still have trouble getting things to play nice with Alexa. It’s not that they want but sometimes it takes too much time to get set up.

Pretty good app and products.
The app is alright, a bit slow at times, and there are a few bugs here and there. But over all it’s good for the price point. There’s the issue of this stuff being Chinese, and the possible privacy implications of that. But hell, is any smart device NOT listening in at all times? I doubt Alexa is minding her business. Are these the best products available? No. But they get the job done, at a reasonable price. Id recommend them to a friend. I just hope they aren’t siphoning my internet traffic.

Very wood, but some times...
Excelente product, but for some reason from time to time one or other switch or plug disappear from the network. Easy to put it back. Also, after a blackout. But in general I recommend this product to everybody. I have an smart house almost at 10% of others companies
Doesn’t work after iOS 13
Worked fine for two years but after ios13 update the my schedules do not show for each device. I scheduled again and they disappear.

Bad update 😡. Everything worked great before this last update. Now - the buttons that turn on/off each outlet don’t work as expected. I have to push a button (then it doesn’t show it turned on/off) then exit the app, refresh and hopefully it turned on/off. Sometimes it work, sometimes it doesn’t...

Timer Function
Can’t reset times in timer function with latest upgrade to iOS 13. When trying to access, I get “no timer data”. The lights go on and off but because they were set for summer hours they need to be reset for fall, winter and the switch back to standard time from daylight savings time.
Timers disappeared after iOS 13
The timers I had on three smart plugs disappeared from the app after my phone was updated to iOS 13. They still come on and go off but I want to change the times and I have no way to edit them. I had several different times set for different plugs.
Fixed the bug(app crashes)
I am using this smart app without any issues . But the app was crashing with iOS 13 release and the jinvoo team have fixed this issue with the new release version. Thanks to the team and developers for your effort.
