It is very helpful and easy to use.
Jishop advanced
Your 字書p Advanced is great. (And a great pun too.) Just the right thing for someone who was used to using Nelson. :-)
Good in theory, but not in execution.
Although the app is functional, at least on a base level, it is prone to frequent crashes, particularly when attempting to illustrate Kanji characters. Unfortunately, I must say that this needs more development before I am willing to buy the full version.
あまり使えない
手入力で漢字の検索ができると書いていたので購入してみたが、あまり認識しない。
If you want to understand Kanji...
Then use this app.
At first I could not utilize it to its full potential, but after I figured out how to use the features, I began using it more than ever.
Good News:
You can create your own flash cards, decide what you want to practice (kanji recognition, etc), and find the meanings for the radicals with just a click of a button. Once I figured that out I just about did a happy dance. You can also import ready made flash card sets. Awesome.
Bad News:
I wouldn't use this app exclusively as my kanji/word dictionary. There are good online resources you can use to double check a meaning or find other ways a kanji can be broken into radicals. This app also doesn't provide sentence examples, which is a great boon when learning a new word.
The way this app is designed isn't as user friendly as I would want it to be, but I put up with it--it's free anyway.
