great app

convenient, can close the app and reopen and its still red light so I can view my tarantulas thanks.

Flashlight App

A very useful app BUT it frequently turns on spontaneously and drains the battery.

Great light

Great app …. Easy. Needs widgets

Light comes on haphazardly

Finding the jLight will come on w/o me touching it.

This is what happens when you vibecode an app

Whatever entity codes this app is not a human being who has ever shared a bedroom with another living human being.

For the live humans on here, this is how to use the jLight app.

Step 1: Set jLight to red so as not to disturb your spouse. Aim the screen toward yourself to minimize light disturbance. Smile silently.
Step 2: Use jLight the following night, and fumble as it defaults to the white flashlight that shines directly at your sleeping companion and shocks her awake. Apologize profusely.
Step 3: Repeat steps 1 and/or 2 a few times, in random order.
Step 4: Sleep on the couch.
Step 5: Repeat steps 1-4 once.
Step 6: delete jLight and write a review.

Flashlight

Works great!

Shedding Amazing Light

Excellent - Wonderful!! I’m so amazed to finally and truly experience newer and brighter joy when I enter darkness and/or an empty room. Who thought that this wonderful light could be displayed with such a small device!!
Thank you in kind πŸ™!!!

Its amazing

It works perfectly and the setting r amazing

Perfect

Good red light. I use this to feed my babies at night so I do not wake them up.

Only light needed

I’ve had this app for years and have never needed anything else. I never have to worry about having enough light to see anywhere I need it. From reading to finding my shoes in the dark I know it’s always with me. 4 stars all the way..

Simple but works!!!

It does what it’s supposed to do! It just works!

Red light great for night

Tip for users: can thumb tack the red light so it doesn’t flip. Red light is perfect for sky gazing, or when entering a dark room where your partner is sleeping. I use this app often. Thank you.

Flashlight

I hate that the flashlight is turned on every time I try to open the app. It should let me turn it on not turned on automatically as I enter the app.

Great

No frills gets the job done.

App tries to harvest clipboard data

Thank goodness for iOS protections. This app tried to harvest my clipboard data.

Brilliant.0

Brilliant in more ways than one, I shall use it for lighting my flower photography in the spring as well as using in the dark now.
Many thanks for it, Wendy Smith

Was good

I’ve had this app for a few years, it used to be very good. Now once a week it fails, starts up and crashes to the Home Screen.
To use it I have to delete it completely and then reinstall it. Then it works for a few days before crashing and becoming useless again.

Terrible and counterintuitive

This app makes zero sense - it automatically opens with the light on the brightest possible setting, not discreet at all. I was looking for a red light flashlight app I could use when I went into my kiddos’ rooms at night without waking them, and this is definitely not it. It also turns up the screen brightness on the phone to the fullest setting automatically, so every time I open the app I have to then remember to turn that down or it drains the battery faster, too. Tried the user manual but can’t decipher it since it’s a series of line drawings worse than an IKEA manual. Deleting, I’ll take my chances in the dark rather than open this app again.
