Does not work
Job Stack for finding workers simply does not work.
It has NEVER worked for me.
This app has one purpose…receive and pass through requests for workers.
It receives the request just fine!
People Ready does not act on the request.
I work with a national account. I was instructed to use this app and enter our account number to ensure that I receive the best rate.
I have tried several times to find workers using Job Stack.
I am able to create and submit a request for workers, however there is nowhere in the process to enter the account number.
And then, my requests NEVER get acknowledged.
They stay in Awaiting Confirmation status.
I place the request several days ahead of time.
Unfortunately, I regularly forget to check in on my request to see its status as the day approaches.
My mistake for sure.
Nonetheless, Job Stack does not work.
When I look in the Job Stack app on the morning I need the help, I see that my request is just sitting there Awaiting Confirmation.
Very frustrating.
Instead, just call the local People Ready office. Friendly people have always answered my calls. They have always come through with help, even on very short notice.

Constant Inaccuracy, Poor organization
We have used PeopleReady multiple times a week for years, this app is a nightmare. Associates frequently enter incorrect hours, or no hours at all. Dispute times are frustrating and lengthy, even with provided sign in and out sheets. There are few tools to determine which associate is associated with which job site.

Submitting hours is challenging
Submitting hours can be challenging when you have a large group and they all show up at different times. It may be a better system if the order manager could clock in and out the individuals, rather than trying to individually sum their hours at the end of the day.
Always there for us in a pinch!
