This release updates Jobumi’s video-first job and hiring experience with redesigned Candidate and Recruiter workflows, clearer navigation, and more consistent mobile interactions. VIDEO AND JOB DISCOVERY • Refreshed the video job feed and job detail experience with improved layouts, job facts, company information, saving, sharing, and application actions. • Improved video controls, loading states, progress display, full-screen playback, picture-in-picture support, and playback continuity. • Videos now stop when their cards leave the visible feed, helping prevent background playback. • Improved support for job and profile video galleries, original aspect ratios, previews, and media selection. CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE • Updated the Candidate dashboard with clearer application, profile, saved-job, and response information. • Expanded My Profiles with gallery and list views, profile status and visibility details, video previews, profile actions, and improved empty states. • Improved profile creation and editing, including résumé-assisted setup, guided review, video management, and section-level updates. • Refined the seven-step job application flow with clearer progress, profile and video selection, review, submission, and return navigation. • Expanded Applications with search, filters, gallery and list presentation, application details, withdrawal actions, and clearer status information. • Redesigned Saved Jobs with search, filters, multiple views, video previews, dedicated saved-job details, Apply, and Unsave actions. RECRUITER EXPERIENCE • Updated the Recruiter dashboard and organization workspace presentation. • Expanded My Jobs with improved job cards, search and filtering, video previews, job details, application search, and job actions. • Refined job creation and editing, including job videos, role details, requirements, screening questions, review, preview, and post-publish navigation. • Redesigned Discovery and Talent Pool with Candidates and Saved Candidates views, search, filters, gallery and list modes, candidate actions, and improved video presentation. • Expanded application review with richer candidate information, hiring-stage actions, contact options, and recruiter note management. • Improved company settings, team and invitation management, organization videos, and workspace controls. MESSAGES, NOTIFICATIONS, AND NAVIGATION • Redesigned Messages with Inbox and Archive views, conversation search, updated contact cards, and cleaner chat presentation. • Added conversation actions for profile access, archiving, and deletion where available. • Improved notification presentation and navigation for Candidate and Recruiter spaces. • Unified the top navigation and side menu across more screens, with safer return paths and better handling of links between jobs, applications, profiles, and workspaces. • Improved sign-in, registration, role selection, onboarding, and redirect handling with clearer validation and friendlier error messages. POLISH AND ACCESSIBILITY • Improved English and French localization across navigation, hiring workflows, salary periods, help links, empty states, and error messages. • Refined light and dark appearance, spacing, typography, controls, menus, sticky search areas, and mobile bottom sheets. • Improved loading, retry, and recovery behavior across frequently visited lists and detail screens. • Includes additional stability fixes and usability improvements throughout the app.
