Brilliant idea but Pointless as Broken

Sadly I signed up with many expectations to better myself. However after trying to sign up multiple times i have not received any password so can not sign in. I have contacted the support team and had no response. Broken app so best avoid

Doesn’t work

Registered with email to start app program. No email came in inbox or spam to verify account. Sent a help request with email they have and no response. Can’t move forward to log in.

Great app overall

After falling off the path I’m working at getting back on the path. This is going to help get back to where I want to go. After exploring the app though, I noticed some of the links are not working anymore with the website. Wondering if there will be an update to the app soon?

Like the app

It’s a cool idea basically I've established a baseline for my life, which is pretty low lol ,but it has pushed me to attack certain areas of my life and I dig that . Would like to personalize categories to fit my own goals for a more personal and specific evaluation.

Will make you a better person

Whilst I’m doing pretty well in life, this app made me realise there were areas that were lacking. Made the appropriate adjustments and am better off because of it.

Stay on the path.

Great App for self reflection and improvement.

Only used for a couple days but love it already. My only suggestion is the ability to check back on scoring definitions during the nightly evaluation. Still learning the exact definition of each numerical score.

Login issues and poor app support

I really want to use and like this app, but I haven’t had the opportunity. I downloaded the app a couple of weeks ago, but when I tried to register my email and create an account, I never received any confirmation or registration reply, even after several days. Checked all folders and inboxes in the email account but no luck. I sent a query through the ‘app feedback’ section of the Jocko Publishing page but did not receive any reply.

I figured maybe it was the type of (work) email account I had used that could be the issue, so I tried registering with a hotmail account and this time - success! I received the confirmation email immediately! When I followed the link and tried to create a password, however, I was unable to do so and I was stuck again. I tried sending another query through the website, but again, no result.

I have also tried sending a query through the Jocko Publishing IG account a few days ago, but no reply to that, either.

I am still willing to give the EQH app a try, as I really like the concept and hope it can help me, but so far my experience has been very disappointing. I have not seen any other reviews describing similar issues, so perhaps it is just user error on my part, but in any case the customer service / app support really needs a lot of work.

Free!! Everyone needs this on there phone

I had no idea. Thank you! And it’s free! This wouldn’t be cheap to make.

Great App-Helps You Track all Areas of your Life

You have probably heard about taking a holistic perspective on health: that’s what this app does. It reminds you that just lifting weights or being in shape isn’t the only goal for reaching your goals. Did you reach your intellectual reading goals today? How about your relationship goals? I love this app because it reminds you to look at your whole self and reminds you to look at everything. One recommendation: include meditation. Great app. I highly recommend it.

Level Yourself Up!!

Podcast #226 and the book have been game changers for me since they came out. The book provides a link to a spreadsheet to track the numbers, but the app takes it to a whole new level in terms of ease and accessibility. I, like a fellow app reviewer, liken this to a Jesuit Examen-I have found myself using the app consistently during my evening shutdown, definitely shows the gaps in my game and sets the tone for tomorrow’s activities….Cheers!!!

This is a great first iteration

Useful app overall, great for competing against your past self.
One small interface change I would really appreciate seeing is if you could get rid of the info button and move that section of text onto the same page as the evaluation itself. I find myself constantly toggling back & forth in order to properly evaluate myself.

TLDR: The rubric of a scoring chart aught to be right next to where you score

JOCKO SAVED MY LIFE

DISCIPLINE EQUALS FREEDOM

Game changer

A daily self evaluation that notifies me at a set time daily eliminating the possibility of excuses to break the habit CRAZY. Accountability, I like it!

2 Days In

I love the App and view it as a modern day Jesuit Examen. I too agree that the ability to write short notes and even record voice memos would greatly enhance the overall experience. If the producers wants to go real deep, automated, linked articles, podcasts, videos... that help one with their weakness would greatly aid the student. Great App!

Love the Concept!! Needs one adjustment.

Must give an additional day to complete evals.

Either due to working overnight or other daily factors, I often don’t have the time to do my eval before midnight each evening. Must be able to complete the previous days eval the following morning.

Will currently start doing each daily eval in the morning, but reflect on the previous day as a work around. In any case, I’d like the issue to be sorted out so my calendar and planner dates align.

Would also like to have a notes section/option.

Thanks jocko

Thanks jocko for putting this out there. Champ. GET SOME

Needs a couple of fixes

Reminders don’t work. I’ve tried to set them numerous times and have yet to get one reminder.
This leads to another problem: you can only score the current day you are on; so, if you miss a day or if you work second or third shift you can easily end up missing the switch. Other than that it seems to work great

Awesome app - 1 Suggestion

I’ve had this app for a day and I’m already in love with it. Definitely something to help you reflect on the day. I do have one suggestion. For each of the categories, I’d like to have a small remarks section that you can put in your own notes to show up every day. Some kind of a reminder maybe? Let’s say you want to build a daily habit, maybe reading for example. I’d like to see a way to incorporate that into the app. Something customizable that maybe makes additions onto the current categories? Could be small remarks listen below each item. Just a thought. Awesome app though!

So close to perfect

Would love to have a notes section at each eval screen. To organize personal annotations to keep everything in one place. Such as to make a reflection or suggestion to your future self. Other than that a great app

Great app for staying on the Path

Fantastic app. I was using a notebook to tally categories like this before, so the app makes everything super convenient.

The one thing I would change would be the ability to turn categories of the evaluation on and off. In my case the “preparedness” category will always be 0, so I feel like I’m not getting the most out of the app because that skews my scores, and because the app shows you where you are weak. For me that “weak” diagnostic will always just be 0’s in the prep category which is not super useful for becoming an Eminently Qualified Human
