joeyjoey is such an amazing app! i found out about this app through a group i was a part of and decided to join one of the girl dinners! i met so many cool girls from this app and made good friends! also the app design is so cute—i love the pink logo! definitely give this app a try if you’re new to a city or just want to find some friends:)

Best app to meet new friends and join activities!
I’ve tried multiple social apps to meet people (not for dating, but really just to make friends and do things together),and joeyjoey is really the best! It is easy to use, app is cute and fun, and you really can find activities and meet really nice new friends over the app. I like it that it’s targeted for young adults 20/30s, vs other social apps that can be a bit more generalised. Glad to have found this app! :)

Good for making close friends in the area
Cool app! I’ve been looking to make close friends in the Bay Area but It’s been tough as an “adult” after leaving school lol. I’ve tried a bunch of different ways like through Facebook groups, meetup.com, discord etc. this app does a good job of aggregating meetups from the other platforms so there’s a bunch of options in one place with good user interface. Its easy to rsvp, invite people, chat with people before the event, and post events.
Something I really like is that there’s a good community of girls who host multiple hangouts every week (like hikes in the area, coworking sessions, embroidery party, etc). I’ve been to one so far (pool/board game party) and everyone there was super welcoming and down to earth. There’s definitely a lot of potential to make close friends and find community here, especially with other women.

I found this app while on BFF. And its excellent. I was trying to find friends to walk/hike with and this app has that and more. I already did one amazing hike and next week going to a flower pot painting. This is a great way to meet friends and highly recommended it
Easy to use and meet new people!
I found this app through instagram and I like the UI design the most, it’s so easy to navigate and find events that I’m interested in. I’ve already attended one event and meet new people and it felt so easy to connect as well! Looking forward to it’s full launch!

Connections upon Connections
I found out about joeyjoey when I submitted an rsvp for a Sunday hiking meet-up I found out about through a Bay Area social group on Facebook. I was excited to meet new people doing one of my favorite hobbies since I recently moved to SF. It was easy to talk to and make friends with the others who came out to the event I attended, and I even made a friend who shares my interest in German language and culture exchange who invited me to other events in the city. This app is great for networking with people, and I highly recommend checking it out and coming out to an event.
